Treelands Castle is in need of a lot of maintenance. The walls have a severe damp problem, and the entire accommodation has a very musty smell to it. The furniture is torn, and the beds are hollow and uncomfortable. The linen is worn. Some of the lights were not working either. Lallie very kindly came to change the one kitchen light for us. She also loaned us her personal router as the WiFi was not working. I would not recommend Treelands Castle to a friend.
Contact person incredibly inept and yelled at me on phone. Garden was untidy, full of bushes and house and beds full of spiders.
Too expensive for what you get. Lights not working, shower head poor and water not very hot. Bathroom basin stopper cannot open. Roof of bedroom broken, no curtains in front of 2 windows in bedroom. The house neglected. WiFi code was incorrect. Gate's motor not working. Alarm nowhere to be found.
I booked Treelands Castle as a four bedroom house for myself, my partner and three adult children. However, we were checked into a three-bedroom apartment, and woke up with no hot water in either bathroom. When I inquired I was informed that I was o rated, but the ad on website and prices do not speak to each other.
Complaints & Concerns: No TV available as advertised, no Internet available as advertised, shower door is broken, heater wheels broken off, hot water tap in bathroom not working. 1x dining room chair leg is very wobbly, lounge suite is damaged (material splitting).
Way too expensive for this old place.
