Love staying here as it supports some time dor leasure while traveling for bisiness.
The room was more spacious than I expected and had everything available that we needed. Clean and tidy. The WiFi signal was very weak, couldn't use it much (necessity with 2 teenagers traveling together). The room was not cleaned on day 2 or a 2nd roll of toilet paper provided (the manager did not call me back after I left a message about this). Furthermore, we were very satisfied.

It was a nice and peaceful location.
Unfortunately not a pleasant experience at all. Firstly, there is no internet or DStv available as advertised. When I called the owner, one Caj, about it, his slightly glib comment was that suddenly on Thursday afternoon, a few hours before the long weekend, there were problems with both the internet and DStv that were being attended to, but not yet resolved. When I asked the local manager and cleaners about it, the answer was that services had been turned off for a long time. So, Mister is apparently not a very honest person. As for the unit, not a good experience either. The roof is supposed to have 7 light bulbs, only 3 of them work! The built-in grill's light switch hangs on 2 wires, so you just have to grill with your mobile phone's light. The lovely king size bed has an electric blanket, but it's a single bed blanket! So, one half can sleep nice and warm, your other half can't! At least one of the 4 dead bulbs was replaced on Saturday morning and another electric blanket was apparently "borrowed" from one of the other units. So, to summarize, a cute unit with a lot of potential, literally walking distance to everything, but unfortunately an owner who is stingy with the advertised truth and downright good service.
We loved the units, they were beautiful, comfortable and close to everything. Just don't call the owner if you're lost or struggling in any way, he's rude, impatient and angry if you call at half past 6/6 in the evening - so not an unreasonable time. If you don't want to take calls from groups of 12, don't make your number available! Will not stay there again because of the owner's attitude. Very unprofessional.
When we arrived, we had to drive through town looking for the place where we had to collect the keys, both places were closed and eventually some guy said the keys are at a restaurant, we tried contacting the owner numerous times by phoning, and WhatsApp. There was no TV in the room and after I sent a message to ask, he read the message but didn't reply. No one could get hold of the owner. Will not go back and will not recommend it to anyone.
Dullstroom was very cold and if the wall plugs don't work for the heater and electric blanket it's horrible. The shower's hot water can also only last for 2 people, so if there are 4 of you, the last 2 people shower lukewarm/cold.
It's our third time at one of Treelands' accommodation options. And also the second time that we had to use other facilities than what was booked. The accommodation was still comfortable, tidy and pleasant. We prefer the open-plan places, where the TV can be watched from the room. One suggestion I do have, that fans are available if needed. We got very hot at night, and were obliged to open windows, which again bothered us because mosquitoes. Furthermore, we really enjoy Treelands. Located close to the shops and eateries, but still quiet and peaceful. We are going back for sure!
Accommodation great. Wood for fireplace wet and struggling to get a fire going.
