We have a small licensed bar and restaurant serving breakfast and dinner (pre booking essential and with different price options) and can organise packed lunches to take away with advance notice. Please note that we have NO self catering facilities.
With notice, we can arrange safari drives and bush walks with qualified rangers, day trips to Maputo city or local beach, Swaziland, fishing, golf and much more. We also have a swimming pool on site. When booking a tour we require a minimum of 48 hours notice. Alternatively, drive yourself to many of these locations and we can recommend routes and places of interest. Stay a few days to explore the southern Kruger National Park, Mozambique and Swaziland. Remember to bring your passport!
NB Our gates are locked from 21:30 to 05:00 to ensure a peaceful and secure night's sleep for all our guests. No entrance/exit 21:30-05:00 - Non negotiable.

Very neat unit in which we slept. Safety is a priority of the owners. Very clean and tidy rooms. Guesthouse owners very hospitable and helpful. The owners are very focused on safety, which we value highly.
Awesome, nice and pleasant. Room was just a bit cramped for the money value.
Wheelchair accessible but not necessarily wheelchair friendly. Ramp at room and restaurant very steep and can't go up or down without help. Bathroom large and even a shower chair is provided. Fridge is on the floor and I couldn't reach it. The friendly and helpful staff make it worth it.

The rooms are nice and clean. Closely located to the JNP is a big plus. Rooms a little on the dark side and perhaps needs upgrading.

Trees Too is a fantastic place, the owners Martyn and Sue are so helpful and friendly. The breakfast and the food are delicious. I recommend it for people staying overnight. It is not even necessary to go looking for places to eat. You can be cozy at the Lodge. Will definitely visit them again.

Could not get a place for one night in the south of the KNP. Trees Too Guest Lodge is about 10 minutes from the Crocodile gate of the KNP. They have a restaurant with delicious food.
Slept well. Food not so great.
I was disappointed with the room, I think it deserves upgrade. The curtains' hooks were not all hooked in, and are very old fashioned. The light from the dining area was also bothersome. I feel the dinners are expensive, to pay R150 for a stewed meat dish (kudu and pork or chicken) and then extra for dessert is excessive. The foreigners may find it cheap.
There were a few minor issues though: Kettle not working, no hot water, honesty bar not properly stocked and they don't provide for load shedding.
The location was good. They can give better directions. We had to turn around to see the sign. The on-site parking could improve. The beds and mattresses were old and lumpy. Dinner was not very good for the price we paid. The chicken potjie tasted almost like nothing. The bobotie wasn't too bad. The buns were already cold and there was also no jam to enjoy with them. There was no sauce, ketchup or chutney either. I should have bought fish and chips elsewhere instead.
My husband and I and my mother (who is a paraplegic) stayed at Trees Too. Sue received us very kindly and quickly made us feel at home. They are very helpful and the service was excellent. They also have a very good general knowledge about the environment and can make good recommendations regarding routes and attractions. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast. This is truly a place to recommend.

I would recommend that everyone visit Trees Too Guest Lodge. It is very awesome, with excellent service and a lovely environment. The food is good too.
We went back for a second time, and found it even better than our first visit. A lovely gem of a place and superb value for money! We will be back again, for a longer stay.

We stayed overnight on our way to Mozambique. It was a brilliant idea to stay over before we crossed the border. The bathroom was definitely the show stealer!
