I'll definitely recommend our friends to go there. We are planning another visit there soon, probably close to the end of this year if availability makes it possible. But once again, thank you so much for your kind, friendly hospitality. You both are excellent hosts.

Janice is a great host. The accommodation, Treetops, is comfortable, well-equipped and was everything we needed for a 6-night stay. No complaints, we'll book there again.
It is a very nice place and very neatly also located between everything. Friendly people received us. And we came and went as we pleased. Can only put up a shower curtain. Water splashes outside onto the floor.
Lovely, quiet location. The accommodation was perfect for my recovery post operation. 200m from a small shopping mall that had Clicks, Woolworths, etc. WiFi was available. TV was intermittent - I didn't watch much as a result. The host was a wonderful, also allowed me earlier access to deposit my bags before heading to Gardens Mediclinic.
Very comfortable and open to the garden. However, as a self-catering unit, it lacked a hotplate, and plates had to be washed in the shower room basin.
I was disappointed with the size of the bedroom and the kitchen - no basin. Parking was a problem. There were lots of mosquitoes. There was a previous client's hospital tag in the drawer. There was no TV. There were dead mosquitoes on the wall. The front door could not lock.
The owner was accommodating and friendly. However, the pictures were vastly different to what we encountered. The room had no lock on the exterior door so didn't feel particularly safe. Bedside tables were dirty, and we had to search to find an adapter to plug in a TV that didn't work very well. The shower leaked all over the floor. Overall a bit disappointing. Not a bad price for the area, but as regular travellers we wouldn't stay here again.

As a booking agent, I got to experience the other side of the journey from a guest's point of view. Treetops was the one we chose and we had such a lovely stay, it was relaxing, peaceful and oh so beautiful, Janice is such a wonderful host, so friendly and welcoming. The images displayed on the website do not do this establishment any justice as the tranquillity you feel being there can not be captured in an image. Janice gave us a warm welcome and made sure the cottage was nice and warm on our arrival. Shopping centre just 5 min away (nice walk in a beautiful neighborhood). We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely use Treetops again and I would recommend it to anyone who just wants to switch off from their busy life and relax with a beautiful mountain view from the window or when you are sitting on the deck.
The spacious garden cottage at the end of the lush, well kept garden made us feel private and at home and met all our needs. Janice is a very friendly and helpful hostess. In addition, the Constantia Village shopping center is only a 5-minute walk from Treetops.
We were so happy staying in the Hadeda Cottage which is situated at the bottom of a beautiful garden. Janice was extreme;y helpful during our stay which we extended by 5 further days. It is well situated close to the Constantia Village Shopping Centre. I Would definitely recommend this lovely self-catering accommodation.
The self-catering units are well equipped and met all our requirements.
We enjoyed the place, though our room wasn't cleaned properly. We could see dog fur on the carpet and the couch. This affected our baby she ended up sneezing. Other than that everything was great.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend Treetops to friends until it has had an upgrade, although it definitely served our purpose for 2 nights self-catering, secure and well-located accommodation. The unit itself, however, we found a little "dated" and in need of sprucing up. Although the bed itself was comfortable, the linen and towels should be replaced in the near future as they are quite worn. Ease of access to the property is perfect with ample off-street parking and the fact that the unit is separate from the main house is always a plus for us.

Safe, off the street parking. Cottage has everything you need. Clean and neat. Good quality. Host is welcoming and efficient. Not best budget option for single person, but value for money for couple. Breakfast and daily cottage cleaning service option could add value, perhaps consider adding that as additional extra option. I did not realise that cottage has shower only. Perhaps I just missed that, but maybe something to clarify?
We booked the suite because it is bigger and has an air conditioner according to the photo. When we received a message the day before to hear what time we would arrive we were not told that the suite was not available. When we arrived we were still not told that there were people in the suite. We were simply taken to the Hadeda unit. Only when we pointed out that we had not booked the Hadeda unit were we told that there were people in the suite, but that if we insisted they would be moved. It shouldn't be like that. The suite should have been ready. We decided to stay in the Hadeda unit but asked for a refund of the difference in price we got. Because we didn't get the suite we booked we give a 1 for service.
Upon arrival we stepped in dog poop on our way to the room and repeated three more times throughout the duration of our stay. The following were dirty and not cleaned for some time: Shower, floor in kitchen, two plate stove, toaster, interior of kitchen cabinets and microwave oven. The overall condition of the facilities meant that we did not want to use them at all. This was discussed with Janice.
The property owner Janice was very friendly and available at all times. The place was clean, and had everything we needed.

Treetops offers a spacious self-catering unit in the beautiful suburb of Constantia. The upstairs unit can be reached using a flight of stairs. The unit is clean, neat and has a king-size bed and air-conditioner. Constantia is well-located for exploring Cape Town.

We very much appreciated the hospitality and the service we received. The air-conditioned room has everything one needs during vacation and offers a very private surrounding with a beautiful garden and pool with all amneties close by.
We had a wonderful stay in our "house in the woods". The hostess was very friendly and even allowed us to check out a little later because she would not have guests that night and we had a late night flight. The garden gives a peaceful atmosphere and creates a lot of privacy. The chalet is beautifully furnished with a lovely big bed.
