8 guests' feedbackTrekos glamping is one of the few places that looks like it does in the pictures in real life. It is idyllically beautiful, secluded and private. The outdoor pool with the beautiful sunset was an experience! It was wonderful to be completely "off the grid" for 2 days. Everything was clean, tidy and the place is equipped with everything you need. Trekkosglamping we will definitely see you again!
We really enjoyed our stay. Very nice area and the accommodation is well equipped.
Absolutely amazing! Enjoyed every moment and the complete silence was a bonus. Highly recommend this as a break from reality just to enjoy life. Will have to come again!
It really is a gem! Totally off grid, so it has enough love and we could take our dogs with us, so heavenly! Thank you, Bonnie, for making us feel so welcome.
The location is perfect and the place surprises you with its incredible silence and beautiful birdlife. I can highly recommend it.
I generally had a very nice stay and got the tranquil feeling, but there is still a lot of work to be done on the container house to bring it up to standard. I would not recommend it for the winter months, but for the summer months, also only if the insulation is done correctly in the container housing. Reason why I wouldn't recommend it for winter months: if it rains, you can't even barbecue on the porch because it rains up to the sliding doors. I recommend putting decent blinds there to make it passable for the winter. So, very poorly finished and the geyser does not work effectively. The lights are solar powered, which is acceptable, but only work for 3 hours on an evening. I suggest that a lithium battery is also inserted. The GPS coordinates were completely wrong. I suggest that better directions be displayed next to it. We were very well received by Bonnie and he made us feel very welcome, who is a gem of a person.
It was a lovely break to experience silence and a bit of nature and recharge batteries. The problems with hot and cold water, especially in the shower, could be fixed, and maybe a canvas tarp on the porch if it's raining and windy.
The peaceful, tranquil environment set in a beautiful West Coast fynbos biosphere was very conducive to relaxation. The property is well-equipped and tastefully decorated with nearly everything required for an enjoyable and memorable glamping experience. Some information that wasn't clear from the ads: (1) Solar lighting provides excellent lighting in each room. (2) Gas geyser - enjoyed the hot bath with amazing views. (3) No electricity plug points - solar phone charger.
