Was a really nice stay overlooking beautiful gardens and an even better view.
We spent a lovely weekend with family. We were a large group with young children and although the weather was not nice at times there was more than enough to keep everyone busy. Most activities in town are within walking distance and the beautiful gardens around the house were enjoyed by all.
All communication referred to solar power but on arrival there was no power and upon further enquiry, it was pointed out to us that it was connected to Eskom and is currently in loadshedding. With loadshedding there is no WiFi and mobile phone services so no contact with anyone. First morning no water and second morning no hot water - gas flame never came on.

Visited all the beautiful garden nurseries in this area. Breathtakingly beautiful!
The cottage is really well appointed with every comfort taken care of. We had a really great stay and will be back to fully experience Hogsback. The cottage was above our expectations.
We stayed wonderfully warm with enough wood to fuel the fireplace all day. Wonderfully equipped kitchen with everything one could possibly need!
The reservation and check-in process went smoothly. Joanne was always available should we have questions. The house was very clean and tidy with a very elegant interior. The evenings were quiet and the mornings out of a fairy tale. Wish we could stay longer.
