A fire in the evenings and relaxing in the beautiful garden made it quite difficult to leave to explore the beautiful surroundings and open gardens.
Very neat and clean cottage. The place is bigger than in the photos. Owner was very helpful. Very large garden for children to play in.
Very peaceful and quiet environment. Typical farm. The house met all our needs - more than enough space for eight people.

We were welcomed with beautiful fresh flowers from the amazing garden and felt completely at home. The house is well equipped, we made a minor suggestion for the kitchen, which was well received. Lovely beds and the fireplace warms the living area immediately and effectively. The warm blankets in the bedrooms all worked. Within walking distance to the lovely small but well equipped Spar which bakes their own bread. The roads ok despite very good rains just before we came.
The house was large, comfortable and well-equipped. The garden is large and lovely. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything perfect. Hogsback can pay attention to their paths. We had to rush back to Alice to replace a tire. Accommodation was 100%.
Plenty of space for us, everything we needed. Once we had a problem and looked for the housekeeper and could not find her, but we sorted the problem out ourselves.

Would highly recommend. Not only was it one of the most beautiful houses I have stayed in, but when I had questions, the owners responded immediately. Breathtaking views of the mountains. Amazing gardens, saw dozens of Cape Parrots and many Knysna Loeries. Magical place to stay.
We were a group of 11 people, from the Boksburg Hiking Club. The location was perfect for us, we did a few hikes from Trewennan. The birds in your gardens were beautiful and we used to sit and bird watch early morning and late at night. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and we were so impressed with the cleanliness of the place.
We will be coming back to this place. Everything was just beautiful. I will recommended this place to friends and family.
Unfortunately when we checked in at 2pm the house was not ready for us as the previous guests had vacated late, however, when we eventually settled in we found the spacious family home very comfortably furnished, especially the lovely big bay-windowed main bedroom and excellent mattress! We also appreciated the wide range of board games, puzzles, books and comics to keep grandchildren occupied when not outdoors. We grandparents and parents appreciated the spacious kitchen, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine to cut down on chores! The house is at the end of a quiet country lane providing privacy, peace and quiet.

Trwennan is a beautiful, well-apponted house with everything you need for a wonderful holiday. The evenings were so peaceful at the fireplace with games and DVDs and wood supplied every day we never even had to remember to buy wood ... they think about all the little things.
Very cosy accommodation with all the necessary facilities. Fireplace is fantastic for cold nights!

We enjoyed our time at Trewennan! The tranquil atmosphere is good for your soul. Our 3 year old really enjoyed the swings, garden and puzzles a lot. The kitchenis fully equipped and the cottage is large and convenient. Best of all: no TV! The owners are friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back next time we're in Hogsback.
