Vacations provide the quality time that families desire. Strand and the accommodation gave us exactly what we were hoping to have. The hotel itself felt like it was "getting back on its feet," but on the whole, a good experience. The staff were helpful, and the restaurant was very good.

Only issue was the hotels normal drinks were very expensive - R25 for a 500 ml Coke.
The place was nice and tidy. Everything was in working order except when there is load shedding then everything is dead, but otherwise the weekend was very nice!

Everything was tidy and it was lovely to just relax. The DStv and WFi kept our little one busy so everything was so great at 301.

The place was clean and very tidy. Fulfilled all the requirements for our self-catering accommodation. Nicely located near the beach. Staff, owner and booking agent were fantastic regarding communication. Overall a nice place to be as a family.

Very little space between bed and wardrobe. WiFi password not working. Self-catering without a stove?
Self catering limited as there is only a microwave available. The accommodation is neat, clean and comfortable but only for a short stay and for two adults and maybe two small children. The bathroom window is translucent and bothers a bit. The swimming beach is at least 3 km away. A surprise was a complimentary bottle of wine in the unit and also a message from the owner that we could check in early and also check out later at the end. Not bad but there are negatives.
Everything was very comfortable, it was very clean. The DSTV and WiFi was a bonus. The landlords made a lot of effort to make us feel at home. A dish towel and drying rack is something I missed, as well as a bowl or two for cooking in the microwave, but I would definitely recommend it!
Everything is at your disposal and you are a stone's throw from the sea.
