Nice place. Short attention span, but I see they are fixing. I think there is a little lack of rules because some campers thought the place belonged to them. Biggest problem was communication. Office phone number does not show on the web. The number that exists is the owner's, and she is in the Cape. And she only answers when she has time.
It's a well situated camping resort. It's a bit out of date but has everything you need. Very clean bathrooms, friendly staff that cleans bathrooms every day.

We had an absolutely horrible stay. The house was disgusting. Very dirty. Everything was outdated and the manager was not friendly or helpful at all. The place was infested with bugs and was not safe at all. We also didn't have a sea view as promised. The bathroom mats and basic things were disgusting. Toilet was dirty. Old panties and waste in the cupboards. Mold everywhere. Stains on our bedding. Very old and uncomfortable beds. Broken and old kitchen equipment. We will never go back again! Absolutely nothing like the photos we saw when booking.

Lots wrong. Kitchen facilities extremely poor. Kitchen equipment extremely poor (items missing). Not enough to cater for a large family. Bedroom mattress shockingly poor quality. House requires a lot of maintenance. Front fence grass needs to be cut and area kept. Braai place too small. Boma by pool in a terrible state of affairs. Games room needs to be cleaned and kept as well as the equipment. The place has potential by buying from management and owners is urgently required. Ultimately we way overpaid for this place. WiFI didn't work half the time and poor reception.
Relaxed atmosphere, friendly people and casual feel. Beautiful beaches and prestine nature.
The accommodation is pretty basic, but we had everything we needed. The pools are clean and the place is pretty well-cared for. The resort was fairly quiet which suited us nicely, and the beach is just a stone's throw away. The only thing we didn't like was that the nearby carpark got a bit noisy on Saturday pm, but there's not much they could do about that as it's a public space. However, we felt secure inside and met some great people. Will definitely come back.
Just a little disappointed in the advertising. It says that there is a games room, which is not there. The store was not open at all all weekend long.

Quiet, scenic and simple place. Swimming pools and resort nice/clean especially one just before you walk out to the beach. Our Embassy chalet with basic amenities. Trust me, nothing fancy. But that's okay, don't need much more. When we got there there was a bit of a musty smell inside, but open a few windows and keep the fan on for nice cooler air/ventilation, then it's sorted. I would only advise that the resorts maybe put some type of screen/grid on windows so that windows can be left open during the day for fresh air (place gets stuffy quickly) and peace of mind about monkeys hanging around. Cute, but yeah. There is no swimming beach at all. Resort is more for fishing families. But you can enjoy a long walk along the beach to the river mouth. You just drive around a lot. Not much to do in Tugela. Had to drive out e.g. to swimming beaches (Dolphin Coast/Umdloti). Sometimes the locals party nearby on holidays, but otherwise the noise is only for a short time now and then. Otherwise quiet. Enjoyed a lot. Pack things to do if you don't want to drive around a lot. Receptionist is really very nice and helpful. People who manage resort very friendly.
Bedding smelly. Pool not 100% clean. Needs a bit of paint and varnish and a good clean scrub. Place should be aired out before guests arrive. Management was pleasant and sought out our laundry quickly. Thanks.

The directions are straight forward. It's good for people from the city needing to relax.
Peaceful and quiet. Good for older people. Not much to do for teens and young people.

Place is very well located and customer service is good. However, place is slowed down and not child friendly. Children's playroom is very bad. More aimed at fishermen. Place could do with renovation (mold on roof, paint looks bad and generally run down).
