Lovely area to visit and tour. The accommodation is very basic though. It has more character than convenience and functionality. The accommodation is very old and had rats in the roof scuttling around. One must be able to bear with this.

Hi, I would never recommend this place. In fact not sure how you could offer this to someone on your website. Very old. TV did not work. No curtains in rooms or bathroom. Beds mattresses are finished. We struggled with hot water. One tap did not work. I was very very disappointed. In fact, I am surprised it is even on your website. I would have thought you would at least inspect your listings. Many thanks. Ps. their service and helpfulness was amazing. Just the place is not really suitable to stay in that price range. Thanks. The lodge is very well located - especially for us who only wanted to stay one night to attend a wedding just outside the town. The parking is a bit of a problem if you want to check in in the middle of the day as you have to park on the street, but in the evening, when all the shops and restaurants around are closed, it's not a problem. Note the R100 refundable key deposit you must pay per unit (cash). It was clean and tidy with very unique decor.

Had a great time at Saronsburg, Vindoux and Duikersdrift. Made a stop at the town's Bush Pub.
Most of the times we were indoors because of the wet weather and cancelled some of the activities.
No freezer and no television (outside weekdays).
Our unit reminded me of the 50's and my son really liked the decor and furniture. Everything was very neat and clean and even if it was only for one night we would definitely want to go again.
We really enjoyed our stay.
Our "room" at TTL was a lovely large retro apartment, complete with mini balcony and three ducks on the wall. It is very comfortable for a family of four and there are sufficient self-catering kitchen facilities available. The decor was really beautiful. The lodge is well located, close to everything you want to see and do in town. The swimming pool is fantastic for cooling off (because it's hot in December) and Paddagang is conveniently probably only 50 m away. Recommendation - please replace the curtains in the master bedroom with dark curtains - the sharp light through the thin, white curtains meant that we hardly slept at all - after a long drive it was really not nice.
Good bed and crisp bedding. Location was good for our purposes. There were too few towels. Also, nothing to put on the ground in front of the shower when you get out. No shower door, although very large. The pictures only show one shower and not the one we got. We would like to make an informed decision. The sink is inside the shower? The shower has not been properly cleaned for a long time and black mold is visible between tiles and tiles on the floor. There was some Allbran in a van - enough for maybe one person. Not that we wanted to use it, it just displays badly. Well, a fridge and Ricoffee at our disposal - but no milk. When we wanted to open the window, the glass fell out of one of the windows that was already cracked. The heater in the room was very nice. There is also air conditioning which will come in handy in the summer. We, or our neighbors, could not get the TV to work. A document indicating its operation may be placed on the TV. There is DStv and we wanted to use the music channels.
Upon arrival I was welcomed by the reception. After signing in, I was taken to the room through a side door. The room is relatively large, but certain basic amenities (such as a kettle) were missing. We later received a kettle that was personally delivered by the owner. Although the accommodation was relatively tidy, it is not the best value for money.
The service was friendly and welcoming. The linen was crisp and clean, but unfortunately we can't say the same about the overall cleanliness of the apartment. The place needs a deep clean.
