11 guests' feedbackVery cute place. Only recommendation would be to replace the chipped plates, bowls and cups and invest in a vegetable peeler, steak knives and a toaster that works decently.
Perfect, just what you need to get away from home.
The apartment was in excellent condition, very clean. The facilities were wonderful.
Comfortable, antique and vintage look, nothing fancy (who wants fancy for a holiday anyway). The housekeeper is such a gem and was very quick to assist when we locked ourselves in the house. A bonus was the unexpected cleaning service, which was not an additional charge. Very quiet complex and extremely clean! The apartment is located on the second floor, so not wheelchair friendly, but absolutely awesome for a big family.

Everything about the unit was very good and enjoyed the stay. Positive aspects: Well equipped unit. All rooms are spacious enough with built-in wardrobes. Nearby (walking distance) cafes, restaurants and petrol station. Cleaners clean nicely and are very friendly. Lots to do in the area. Negative aspects: They use Vodacom wifi and it is more off than on. Only in the mornings was it stable until about 10h00. There is probably no fiber in St Lucia yet. When there is loadshedding, water does not come out of the taps either (probably because a borehole pump is used for all their water). Would have preferred if each bedroom had air conditioners and not fans. No sports channels on their DStv package. Because there is so much loadshedding, the gate to the site was open all the time, which can then only be pushed open and closed when you enter and exit. Think it's a risk especially at night. This is an 8 bed unit so a 2nd parking space for the unit is actually a must (there is only one parking space for the unit). So if you e.g. 6 or more guests, of which 5 usually drive in a car, the 2nd car must be parked outside in the street.
It was our first time in St. Lucia. The beaches are very beautiful and clean. The shops and restaurants are well located and everyone is very friendly. Parking is safe and under cover. The only problem we encountered was the N2 route between Ermelo and Pongola which is in a very poor condition. Huge number of heavy vehicles using the road and this causes very slow movement.
We were 2 families. The parking was a small problem but then sorted it out. On Saturday night it was noisy as people were hanging out in the street, but nevertheless it was very nice.
The lady that took care of the place was so good, kind and honest to us. We did forget a pot and they did contact us. Your facility is well placed in the heart of St Lucia which made things very convenient for us. If we do decide to visit again we'd surely love to stay at Turtleshaven.
The pool is in good condition. Monkeys are currently a problem in the area.
It was lovely to be there, if I could I would go again, yes, and go and stay in Turtleshaven, the same place.
