It feels like home - home away from home - the warm friendliness of the owners really impressed us. Will definitely use their establishment again.
A nice home away from home.
The place is value for money and everything you need, especially if you are very busy. It's lovely to be able to sit outside on the porch and do your work in peace.
I could only smell that the room was long granted, the room smelled a bit stuffy.
The facilities are adjacent to the residential house and have a communal kitchen where the owner's items fill the fridge and leave no room for your own things. Instant coffee is provided without fresh milk. Toilet facilities in the room have no partitions and this means that your fellow traveler must leave the room before the toilet can be used. (Or wait your turn for the communal bathroom) No TV in the room. No exterior lights at the area where vehicles are parked. I have stayed for cheaper at other places that have much better facilities. The curry and trip was tasty.
Elderly lady welcomed us all by herself, glasses to our disposal in kitchen not clean and no warm water in en suite shower. Random toilet placed in full view next to cupboard in bedroom.
We were in Standerton for a conference and the place was wonderful and offered comfortable bed after a long day. Tannie Germarie was very friendly and even packed us lovely lunch boxes for the day.
Hostess was very friendly and went out of her way to accommodate us. Very neat and safe location too.
Very well received and friendly. The rooms were spotless. My vehicle was safely locked in the yard. So I will stay there again.
The rooms are in a wing attached to the main house. The establishment was clean. There were no bedside lamps beside the bed. The mattress was very soft and concave. The breakfast was very tasty and generous, however, there was no filter coffee.
I enjoyed my stay and would definitely visit again!

I really enjoyed the stay.
It is a large house, where the rooms are rented out, some of the rooms have their own bathrooms and there is a common lounge for watching TV with DStv. The Aunt was very friendly, a real farm grandmother, I enjoyed her very much. The beds sleep very comfortably, with nice thick blankets when it gets cold. A coffee bag and 2 biscuits are provided. In the bathroom is a clean towel and a bar of soap. The only downside I did experience was the smell of cat pee all over the house.

Warm welcome. It was a surprise to share rooms in the house with owner, but then the price makes sense. Her little dog in the house was a bit of a problem. Very helpful. Accommodation was very comfortable and pleasant.
The accommodation was more than adequate for me as a single traveller. I was greeted kindly when I arrived. And was greeted with a friendly smile when I drove. It is very close to town.
The place does not belong on an accommodation website. It was horribly over, reeking of dogs or cats marking the place with that STRONG pee-spread smell. Awful, it deserves no rating. It was certainly the most unpleasant stay experience. Dirty, smelly, overflowing with other people's stuff. Looks like there are workers staying there and we were only accommodated there for the weekend. No place to keep our water cold even in the fridge. No coffee, sugar or fresh milk pouches for us, let alone fresh biscuits. There is a hotplate, but it looks like someone has cooked meat and the blood hasn't even been washed off. Old faded and faded towels, the yard dirty, grass long. Rubbish litters the whole place. Man stands in front and doesn't even greet us when we stop.
We immediately felt at home. Facilities are very neat and clean. Might just warn future guests to bring towels. Expected that there would be more than the 1 tea bag, coffee and no sugar available for getting up early in the cold.
Good if you're just looking for basic, clean accommodation. Not self catering as advertised. Hostess friendly, free WiFi.
I was received by extremely friendly and hospitable people and they immediately made me feel at home. Their place is very neat and clean. I really enjoyed the large bathroom with the bathtub after a long day on the road. It was so nice to wake up to birdsong.
The bathroom and parts of the room were not clean. The breakfast was too basic, no choices for porridge, only butter with one slice of bread per person, not good preparation of eggs, tea extremely weak. Person on duty intrudes on privacy at dinner, sits the whole time and is full of questions about matters that do not concern us.
I really just want to share my absolutely wonderful experience with anyone considering visiting the Twee Mossies Inn. It was the most wonderful, most peaceful experience I've had to stay there for (unfortunately) only one night. (If I had known that it would be such a wonderful experience, I would have stayed longer!) The friendliness and hospitality immediately struck me (as a city boy) and I really had a great time with the people too! They are truly "soul people"! For anyone looking for rest for the soul, this is the place to visit!

My lorry driver and I attended the Boere Day in the area. I was surprised that we could park our 8 tonne lorry safely on the premises. They made us feel at home from the start. We arranged a delicious plate of "boerekos" in advance and it was very reasonably priced. The next morning at 5 we got up and were treated to a coffee and a delicious "braaibroodjie" for the road. I definitely recommend Twee Mossies Herberg.
It was good to be there. The rooms and bathroom was clean and we slept warmly and snugly on very comfortable beds. They offer a breakfast and "boere kos" at extra cost. It was lovely that we ate together with our hosts.
We enjoyed staying at Twee Mossies. It was really nice and the people are friendly and welcoming.
Was good for a night or two, ideal vor weddings (the guests) or sporting weekends.

Will book there again anytime. The man and woman are very friendly and hospitable. Had a nice chat in the kitchen and received the most delicious breakfast, straight from an old farm kitchen. Delicious homemade jam with breakfast. Will never forget it and made me miss my childhood years on the farm.
What a wonderful, peaceful place that is truly food for the soul! Could not have asked for better. The hospitality is overwhelming! Really the type of place to go to revive a tired body and soul. Privacy guaranteed. Two better people to run this place I cannot imagine. Uncle Corrie and auntie Annemarie - you are wonderful! Cannot wait to see you again.

Quite lovely and we were treated wonderfully by the hostess. Friendly and spontaneous, had a lovely visit and felt comfortable. Thank you for the lovely hospitality. Definitely an experience not to be forgotten quickly.
