Astoni Guest Lodge Twins is a quiet and extremely safe guest lodge located in the most sought-after area in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng, just 500 meters from the Emerald Resort and Casino. For guests' peace of mind, the lodge is off the grid with a solar system and borehole water that is certified, tested and safe for human consumption.
Accommodation comprises 9 units: Rejoice, Believe, Joy, Love, Grace, Hope, Peace, Prosper and Blessing. There are 2 separate fully-equipped communal kitchens with combination washer/dryer machines, gas stoves, ovens, microwaves, toasters, fridge-freezers, tea- and coffee-making facilities and areas to dine.
Units Rejoice, Believe, and Joy have access to the first kitchen. Units Grace, Hope and Peace have direct access to the second kitchen. Unit Prosper is separate but can access the 2nd kitchen if needed. Unit Love has no access to a kitchen, but has some self-catering facilities available within the unit. All units have bathrooms with showers.
All units but Joy can accommodate up to 2 adults; Joy can accommodate up to 4 adults. Children can be accommodated with an inflatable mattress, depending on the size of the unit. Rejoice and Believe can accommodate 2 adults with 2 single beds that convert into a king-size bed. Joy has 2 three-quarter beds and a double bed available. Everything you need for a night or two's stay. It's very neat and comfortable. Enjoyed the shower! The room's doors have a little trouble opening and closing. Anton was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the dinner at Farm 'n Sea that he suggested.
The air conditioner did not work. The owner said he would look into it, but did nothing. The mattresses are very worn and make noise when you move.
We made a late reservation and were able to be helped immediately. The facilities are of the highest standards, neat and safe. Our overnight stay was very pleasant. We definitely recommend the accommodation. Continue like this.

I can't say enough about how kindly Anton received us. There was nothing out of place, everything was neat and clean. We got information about what to do and where to eat. The pool was off the books on a hot day. Location is easy to find too.

Our daughter was rowing and had to launch inside the Emerald Casino, so the location was excellent - 800 meters away. Our room had a king-size bed which one seldom gets - yay! Our 2 small dogs were very welcome. Only spent one night so did not use the outside braai and pool facilities but they looked good. The restaurant recommendation by the host turned out to be an excellent option for a delicious burger meal. Good security and privacy as we had the place to ourselves.

The room was new and modern. The bathroom looks fantastic with the stone tiles and the shower head makes you feel like you are standing under a waterfall. The accommodation is on another level of high quality, but the host is what makes it special and you feel and know that your interests are being looked after.
It is a beautiful, clean and well appointed place with good service. One of the few places where you can at least find a power plug near the mirror!

We were warmly received by the owner. He explained to us the security system which is controlled by mobile phones. We used it seamlessly after that. The room shows great taste. The kitchen, which is shared with the other unit, is functionally equipped. Although we did not use the pool, lapa or braai facilities, it was painfully neat. The guest house is a stone's throw from the casino and the river.

Accommodation comprises 9 units: Rejoice, Believe, Joy, Love, Grace, Hope, Peace, Prosper and Blessing. There are 2 separate fully-equipped communal kitchens with combination washer/dryer machines, gas stoves, ovens, microwaves, toasters, fridge-freezers, tea- and coffee-making facilities and areas to dine.
Units Rejoice, Believe, and Joy have access to the first kitchen. Units Grace, Hope and Peace have direct access to the second kitchen. Unit Prosper is separate but can access the 2nd kitchen if needed. Unit Love has no access to a kitchen, but has some self-catering facilities available within the unit. All units have bathrooms with showers.
All units but Joy can accommodate up to 2 adults; Joy can accommodate up to 4 adults. Children can be accommodated with an inflatable mattress, depending on the size of the unit. Rejoice and Believe can accommodate 2 adults with 2 single beds that convert into a king-size bed. Joy has 2 three-quarter beds and a double bed available. All the other units are equipped with either double or queen beds.
All units have flat-screen TVs, and most of them have smart TVs, with either a DStv family or compact package, air-conditioning, unlimited Wi-Fi, tea-and-coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge, a safe for valuables and block-out curtains. Additionally, Joy and Love each have a microwave, toaster and cupboard with their own cutlery. Rejoice, Believe, and Joy have wooden stacking doors leading to the Lapa with a built-in braai and swimming pool. Peace has a direct view and access to the swimming pool. Prosper has its own wooden deck/patio with a view of the garden and swimming pool. There is a Boma with built-in braai facilities available on the premises.
