We slept nice and warm, got very friendly help from Fran. We had a little trouble finding the place but with Fran's help we got there. Very nice and clean. Bathroom was small, but adequate.
Accommodation could do with some attention and renovation.

We received a very friendly welcome! The cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable. We travelled with a 10 month old baby and he was loved by the owners as their own grandchild! A lovely experience! We will definitely recommend to friends!

My husband and I had a wonderful break in Clarens. Twogether is ideal for two people and the cottage has everything you need. We did find the double bed a little uncomfortable and think it might be time for a new mattress. Furthermore, the hostess was very friendly and helpful. Pet friendly and safe environment. Nice view of the surrounding mountains, while we enjoyed breakfast on the veranda. We would love to visit there again.

The rusks and sweets and breakfast cereals and fresh milk was a lovely surprise and most welcome. A lovely strong flow of hot and cold water in the shower. I will definitely be visiting there again when I go next year to. Magda was most friendly and most accommodating I was also given under cover parking and she has very good security system and well lit.

We were warmly received by Makkie upon our arrival. Sommer immediately struck up a conversation and made us feel at home. The unit was very neat and clean with everything we needed. We could barbecue and cook good food. The view over the mountain is also breathtaking - just too bad we missed the snow by one day! The milk, breakfast packs and homemade biscuits had been a great treat! Our 4 dogs were also safe on the yard and you can see Makkie has a soft spot for the four-legged children. We will definitely stay there again when we find our way back to Clarens. Thank you very much, Makkie!

Definitely the best self-catering unit I've seen. One can prepare a five course meal in that kitchen. The houses are clean, neat and well looked after. Magda goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The houses are well located on the gravel round which is a bit challenging in the rainy season for small cars since it is so steep. My mom was with me and the verandas unfortunately have no railing which shot my nerves, but I have no complaints about the rest. You'll definitely see me again! It is great value for money.
Upon our arrival we were kindly welcomed by Tannie Makkie. The unit was well prepared, clean and warm inside. There were more than enough basic condiments (tea, coffee, sugar, etc.) and extra special stuff for us. With the cold weather outside the unit was well-equipped - more than enough blankets, lovely big bed with luxury bedding and electric blankets. It is very safe and pet friendly. We feel comfortable leaving our dogs there while in town, which is a short walk away. Very nice views from the veranda! Lovely, peaceful getaway.

We were able to park and walk to the shops and restaurants in town - Not even a kilometre far. Loved the fact that it is pet-friendly and Mandi was able to bring along her poodle. The view of the mountains from the were beautiful from the patio where we had coffee at 5 in the morning. We will definitely stay there again but in winter to see the snow on the mountains.
Makkie went out of her way to make out stay comfortable. The room contained many little surprises to ensure a wonderful stay.
This place was amazing to stay at! Tannie, Oom en Woefs were all extremely friendly and welcoming and always made sure we felt home away from home. We were met with a warm welcome of rusks, cereals, fresh milk, chocolates and loads of other spoils which was really nice. The road to Twogether was quite a steep rocky dirt road but most cars will manage it. I felt very safe here each night as oom locked the gate and the alarms were set. Twogether is walking distance from town but far enough from town to enjoy the peace. The place was small but cozy and had everything we could've ever needed. Thank you to Tannie, Oom and Woefs for the lovey stay at your little huisie in the mountains, it was absolutely wonderful!

I know the owners have no control over the above but that was very unpleasant. BUT Makkie is such a pleasant person the unit was clean, we slept warm and did not need anything, evertything was there!
Please mention that road from town down to house is steep, rough dirt road. On weekends noise level from location could be too much.
