The stay was very nice and convenient for my family of four. The owner was very kind, nice and helpful, can't wait for my next visit.
Landlord friendly and welcoming. There were no lights tripped, but we were okay as we had a mobile inverter and battery backup.
The 2-plate stoves get dirty. Some of the lockers don't close properly.
The place itself is nice and quiet, but cleanliness is clearly not important. The whole room is full of ants and cockroaches. Everywhere you turn and look, you notice it. When I picked up the bedding, the bed was covered in cockroaches, as were all the closets. My parents stayed in one of the other rooms. Basically nothing worked with them. Among other things, only one of the wall plugs worked.
They say, "cheap is expensive". The water was always cold. On one occasion I showered with cold water in the middle of winter. There was a lot of dust on the TV and decoder. No heater or electric blanket in the room.
The host was nice, place is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay.
Would recommend people to go here.

Place was very dirty, TV didn't work, no basin to do dishes, no soap, extractor fan did not work (neither did the normal fan), no lights. Old bottle of water was left for me in the fridge. Did not sleep there for many of the nights booked, left by the Saturday morning instead of Sunday evening. Will not recommend the single unit to any human being.

Excellent and value for money and the place is in a very quiet area. It's also very close to the shopping centers and not far from the sea. So yes, I would definitely want to go home there again.
We booked Pool 1 but instead they gave us Base. Shower's drain was clogged. Cutlery was greasy. Kitchen cabinets and faucets fall apart. Bedding was full of dirty spots. Kettle leaks water.
Upon arrival we were met at the car and taken to the room. I noticed that general maintenance is lacking. Upon entering I noticed a damp smell. At the fireplace was a damp towel supposedly to catch the water that welled up earlier that morning due to rain. Overall the rooms and bedding were neat and clean. The room had roll up reed blinds that were worn out and not working properly. The carpets in the main room were dirty. The toilet and bath were dirty too. When we left we didn't see any staff so we just left the key in the box. We chose Tyday due to its location and based on the pictures we saw. Price wasn't an issue.
The apartment was very tidy, but with a heavy musty smell due to standing there. The yard was unkempt with rubbish lying around. It will take one worker one day to clean up and tidy up for guests.

The place was quite spacious, convenient and accommodating for us and especially for the 4 German shepherds we brought along for the show. Lovely quiet area as well. The only thing I did not like was the bedding (comforter) was too thick and hot for me at this time of the year, they should at least have some thinner bedding as an option as well.
I am disappointed. I specifically told Tyday that I wasn't sure how many nights we would be staying because we were working at the hospital and didn't know how long we would be staying. They said I had to pay the full amount in advance. We didn't stay one night and asked for a refund of the last night, we checked out early in the morning. At first they didn't respond to my emails. After the third time they replied saying we can't get a refund. So I will definitely not stay there again.
The overnight facilities met my requirements.
Location is good but place doesn't look like in pictures! If you are a young group, this is really not ideal! Owners address other guests, not the person making the booking, disappointing. And owners live upstairs.

We had a great time in a very comfortable studio. Everything nice and clean. We were grateful for the built-in braai. The owners are very friendly people, who try to make it very pleasant for the guests. The playground right in front of the door came in handy when our grandchildren came to visit. We would love to stay there again. If we can make a friendly recommendation, the following accessories can be purchased: 4 wine glasses, salt and pepper shakers, a tin opener and a bowl for braai meat to keep warm on the coals.

During our stay the room was not serviced.
The location was excellent for us, very close to the Newton Park pool as we were there for a swimming gala. We were in the "backpacker" rooms which especially the small room was very dirty and dusty, the standing fans were full of dust and dirt and you could see the rooms had only been cleaned very recently. The duster was dirty and microwave ovens too and well the whole rooms were full of dust, my son and I are allergic to dust so that's why I immediately smelled it and picked it up when we got into the rooms. Since these are self-catering units, one expects that there will be the basic items to be able to make food. One room did not have a stove at all and although very dirty, the other room at least had a stove. No graters, strainers, meat knives that one uses in the kitchen. Then we struggled all the time with the DStv and TV being off or the channels freezing, in the end we had to give up and not watch TV. At least the owner and his wife came to see after I pointed it out to them, but as soon as you change channels the image freezes. Then the noise, constant chopping and welding, I assume their build or something, we couldn't get any rest in the afternoons especially because the swimmers have to rest before the finals, apart from the Sunday it was at least quiet, but then their children played cricket where the cars are parked in the yard and in front of the rooms with balls being hit against glass. I feel it is not safe for our cars at all, with no consideration for the guests staying there, the children then take to a park to play - and what if a window of the guests' cars is knocked out? So the rest we had to get in between was not possible at all. Although the location was good and the owners friendly, and the price very good I would not stay there again. I feel that even if one pays cheaper, a clean place is surely a necessity. I'm not one to usually complain but am grateful to get a place but again a dusty, dirty place is not negotiable. Also for people looking for a quiet and peaceful place, I would not recommend it either.

Comfortable and spacious accommodation in a quiet area of the city. Definitely something to recommend.
The studio unit needs a good cleaning! The big couch smells bad. There are only 2 sliding doors, no air conditioning, no fan and no windows except 1 in the bathroom. As soon as you exit through sliding doors there are 3 tall steps leading to lawn and pool. There are no safety gates in front of the sliding doors, so dangerous for crawling toddlers. The drying cloth was dirty and damp and the cutlery only scrappy. The gas bottle and two-plate stove in the living room can be a draw for busy hands. There is only 1 chair around the table for 4, so we could not eat together as a family around the table. Luckily only stayed 1 night.
