No complaints. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Neat and clean everywhere. Swimming pool nice and clean. Spa and spa staff are really friendly and warm, service and treatments are top class. No comparison at all to any fancy-pansy urban spa. All complaints are that the food does not meet the same standards as the rest of the lodge. Compared to the rest of the experience, the food was disappointing - expected more flavorful dishes.
Check in was seamless, staff super friendly and the food amazing.
Very nice! Evening meal was fantastic. Breakfast not great. Fruit juice was very watered down which made the place feel cheap. It ruins your reputation - don't do it. Very hospitable, enjoyed it a lot.
Dinner was delicious, as was the buffet breakfast.
Stunk like sewage. Busy dirt road just outside room. Bathroom a disappointment.
Our bed slept very well, the room was nicely furnished and the reception very good. The restaurant has tasty food and the cook personally came to tell us something about the food, excellent, it's a good quality. We had laundry done there and it was really, really expensive so I wouldn't recommend it. The breakfast was also very inviting.
The spa is excellent. Thanks Olivia. The food is top notch no issues there 5 stars. The venue is clean. neat and staff is friendly. Number 28 bath had an issue (hair attachment broken off) and the hair dryer was out of order. None of these really bothered us. If you stay here book from rooms 60 up. They are really spectacular if older and without children. It is really well positioned to visit all the local scenery. Clean. beautiful scenery close to most attractions from about 10 km to 120 km. We also went cycling perfect venue for weddings as well.
Only criticism is that I would prefer the wheelchair room to be closer to the restaurant.

The Tzaneen Country Lodge is perfect for an overnight stop on the way to the Wildlife Park, with room to park your caravan. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the air conditioner is fantastic. I recommend the restaurant - the food was really delicious.

I booked a "Delux Room" and had to change rooms first, after we were put in a regular room. Apart from a few small foxes in the room itself, and the above admin with the room we had a very nice stay.

The area where the lodge is located is peaceful and has beautiful scenery. The restaurant's food and service is the lodge's outstanding feature. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but old and a little upgrading would not be inappropriate.

We were lucky to get unit near private boma. They left us wood at the boma every night. Breakfast was pleasant, and the location of the resort very reasonable.
I had a very unpleasant stay at Tzaneen Country Lodge, reason being I was given a room that was smelling of paint, which made both my husband and me sick. Also the Earth Spa was fully booked and could not accommodate us for a massage.
There are sufficient facilities, rooms are clean and tidy, bed sleeps well. The footsteps from the floor above you are disturbing. Food was good and I generally had a very nice stay.
We had a very nice stay. Structures need some attention. Suggest maybe putting small bar fridges in the rooms. the water bottles that are available in the rooms are hot and if you want to keep your own drinks cold there are no facilities. Otherwise very good service.
