Lodge life mostly happens on the large covered veranda, furnished with sofas, chairs and tables, and a summer kitchen and dining area. A refreshing swim in the pool is only a few steps away. On cold days, guests can move indoors to the open-plan hall that includes a kitchen, dining room and lounge with an open fireplace. The wine cellar also has a cosy bar, where good fun and company lifts the spirits.
Guests are spoiled with a choice of cuisines, including a good venison braai and other hearty dishes from South Africa, France and Italy. English language TV channels are available to follow the news and major sporting events.
