There is an outside sheltered deck with a built in braai and ample seating. Off the passage from the living area are 2 en-suite bedrooms with private north-facing balconies. The first bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and the second bedroom has a queen-size bed.
Downstairs comprises 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and a bunk bed for children and the other with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms have their own private balcony. A cozy living area and kitchenette separate the 2 bedrooms. Bath and shower facilities are available in the bathrooms.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with 2 fridge-freezers, an oven and stove, and a microwave, as well as a dishwasher for convenience. A washing machine and tumble dryer is also available.
Secure parking is available on the property, with enough space for 2 cars. Alternative parking should be sought in Witsand if you are bringing a boat. The jacuzzi is only made available for guests staying 5 days and longer.

House is excellently equipped.
Our number of people kept changing at short notice but that and our extra requests were quickly sorted out. We will definitely be back for more.
Well equipped house. Everything you need is in the house, except towels. It was quite a pity, because towels fill up one's luggage. Furthermore, there was everything and it was particularly neat with very good bedding. The view was excellent.
I'd just recommend you bring your own toilet paper as apparently that's not part of self catering.
Uit Die Blou is a breathtaking gem in Witsand. The location is perfect, and the view is unbeatable. The house can accommodate 8 adults and 2 children with ease, without anyone compromising their privacy. The large deck overlooking the river was a big plus as we didn't have the best weather. It is a pity that the sauna could not be used. The dartboard is also not usable. One wonders why minimal essentials are provided (dishwasher blocks, toilet paper, barbecue grill and wood).
A three week family holiday in Witsand and our first time in Uit die Blou. The house's view is breathtaking, you won't get better. Also important to mention that house is a short distance from the main beach and general town area. Furthermore, it is a small dirt road (not the best road condition). The house otherwise is just a dream, basically 4 rooms each with its own bathroom.
Best way to spoil loved ones with a few days off. Very comfortable home with everything you need and more. Unbelievably beautiful view of the river. Very helpful and friendly people who helped us with booking and our arrival.

Positioned just in between the river mouth (for sea fishing), and a close walk will take you further up the river.
Beautiful place, away from the hussle and bustle very relaxing. Loved the entertainment area with the Jacuzzi. The host Anthea was very friendly. Most definitely be going back.
Great house that is tastefully decorated. Very secure and situated in a gated estate. Unbelievable view of the Breede River and estuary. The Jacuzzi on the deck is a bonus.
The house we stayed at had everything we needed to have an amazing time!
