Very pleasant farm stay - kids enjoyed being able to play and run around the farm. Our stay was very short overnight en route home but the host was lovely and very helpful.
Most beautiful farmhouse with all possible amenities, heavenly silence, beautiful garden and very friendly hostess.
We got there later than planned, but we were personally welcomed. The place was neat and we had everything at our disposal to make it an incredibly nice visit. Will definitely stay there again on the way to the Cape.

What a relief to arrive at this guest house under the big shade trees after the tiring and hot journey through the Karoo between Willowmore and Graaf Reinet! One can see why our ancestors came to farm in this beautiful basin of the Kamdebo. The climate is completely different from out there on the Karoo plains with its scorching heat. Large house that is very well and neatly furnished by Janie and her farm bread with butter and jams is a winner. The freezer in the kitchen with frozen meats and meals that the guests can choose from if they haven't brought their own supplies is brilliant.

The guest house is excellent for a large group. There were sufficient beds for seven independent adults, and two bathrooms (a larger group would be possible if couples shared double beds). The beds were comfortable. The old farmhouse was pleasant. We had a nice barbecue in the sheltered barbecue area on the stoep. Outcome provided barbecue suits. The lamb chops were delicious and we really enjoyed the kaiings. The boerewors was also very tasty. Unfortunately for us, we were only there one night. It would have been nice to stay there longer and enjoy more of the surroundings. I can recommend Uytkomst unconditionally.

We had a nice time with Petrus and the two friendly dogs and Janie received us kindly. We could quietly grill some meat and listen to the night sounds. The cozy log fire was a bonus in the cold and slept nice and warm. Recommended for guests who prefer farm silence and tranquility.
The house was absolutely immaculate and we had everything we needed. Koos and Janie are very friendly and made us feel right at home. I will definitely stay there again if I'm travelling through Graaff Reinet.

We had a wonderful experience. Janie did everything to make us feel at home and to make sure that we had everything. Her food was amazing (especially the ice cream and guava jam). The ride on the tractor was our children's' highlight of the holiday.

The road from the turn off of the tarmac is a bit bad so a car gets a bit heavy so something like a bakkie will do better. Upon our arrival at the farm, we were kindly received and immediately taken to our home to unpack. The children could play freely on the lovely premises. We were able to rest well and enjoyed a delicious hot breakfast.
We were not too sure what to expect but were thrilled to find ourselves in an oasis in the, sadly, dry Karoo. It had everything we wanted and our hostess, Jannie was very welcoming. The farm setting was very relaxing and the bleating of the lambs special as were all the birds in the well kept garden. The thick perfume of the orange blossom added to the experience.
A warm welcome in a clean, nostalgic old farmhouse that, if the walls could talk, you could experience dreams and beautiful stories of Toeka's days.

Unbelievably beautiful farmhouse with the most beautiful garden. Friendly welcome. We have in a separate house also with its onion garden. Fully equipped and clean with full DStv. Firewood for use.

A lovely family farm with a very caring hostess. The meals served are phenomenal, would not be out of place on any restaurant's menu. True hospitality, feels like old family you are visiting.
Uitkomst Gasteplaas is the ideal place to break away from daily stress. All I wanted to take out of the weekend was to sit and watch my boys run around without worrying about them getting hurt or getting lost. That's exactly what it was. The Theron family is incredibly hospitable and little Petrus played with my children too much. I can't wait to go to the farm again.

Breathtaking surroundings with a well appointed, large farmhouse. Much more than we expected for the price we paid. The snooker room was a pleasant surprise. It's so quiet you can hear yourself thinking. Wish we could stay longer.
We arrived at the farm late. Janie was very friendly and hospitable. The house we stayed in was wonderfully spacious and tidy. The farm life creates a sense of tranquility and in the dark night when we arrived it felt so relaxing. We slept wonderfully after the long day on the road. The next morning the children first played "pool", we almost had to drag them away so we could continue again. Will definitely stay there again.
