Nice and clean. However, the 2-plate stove needs attention. It took an hour to fry an onion! It was actually painful to take a shower and felt like needles on one's skin. The jets are too thin and small, resulting in a strong needle effect on one's skin. Otherwise, a great stay.
Very well located, very cute apartment and very friendly owner. Experienced very good service. Will stay there again.

We were a group of friends who stayed in the cottage for the weekend. It is a lovely modern cozy house with large open spaces that are ideal for winter with the indoor braai and cozy fireplace. The garden in front and back is also nice for sitting outside and chatting on a picnic blanket under the trees. The owner was hospitable and helpful. The advertisement could perhaps be more clear about the fact that there is only sleeping space for 4 people in the main house and 2 guests therefore had to sleep on the couches. However, the couches were very comfortable and extra bedding was provided so it wasn't a problem.
Not much to do during Covid-19 restrictions.

Apartment was very neat and provides for basic facilities. Close enough to estuary to walk.
Weekend getaway is good value for money. The accommodation is neat, practical and clean and we really enjoyed our stay.
Uitnaweek is a very nice place for a family. It's a very nice place to stay at because you can walk to the river or sea. It would have been better with DStv especially during wintertime with the nice fireplace.
The apartment is very cold inside, heater does not help much. Bathroom is falling apart a bit, could be improved. Remember to turn on the geyser when you get there.
We were in a one of the two self-catering houses. Small but clean, no table inside or outside to eat on. Cooking plates are very slow, 15 minutes to get boiling water for 2 coffees. Beds are super.
