Wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Lots of wildlife seen and there are beautiful walking paths! Would just like to ask that a path leading to lower dam be cleared. Very difficult to move through grass fields and swamp.
What a wonderful privilege to be able to enjoy a piece of this beautiful environment. If you are looking for peace for your soul and an incredibly peaceful getaway, this is the place to visit. We really enjoyed it, the accommodation is beautiful and tidy and the surroundings are so beautiful - beautiful walking trails with ponds and waterfalls, wildlife etc. We will definitely visit there again. Even the cooler weather was a relief. I can't remember the last time in my life you could hear nothing, no noise or traffic, just the beauty of nature. As mentioned, it was a great privilege for us to be able to enjoy part of this.

Best getaway for 2021.
We wanted to do the walking route and were pleasantly surprised by the neat, marked hiking route with its gems along the way. Waterfalls, swimming pools and a lovely view of the high veld mountains. The tranquility of the trout pond and the frog's ear made us completely forget about the city.
Nice place that is well located with a beautiful view of the landscape. Nice quiet for that soul rest! Very nice, neat and clean. Everything you need is there. Wil just walked past the unit.
Large windows ensure beautiful views everywhere and the indoor braai and fireplace provide a lovely, cozy atmosphere. It's nice that each room has its own shower and toilet. The kitchen has everything you will need. The nature is very beautiful and our children really enjoyed the hiking trail to the waterfall. Will definitely stay there again.
Very nice farm with several ponds for fishing. Various game on the farm. The road to Uitvlugt Ponds very bad and not suitable for normal vehicles. No problem for vans.
We had a great time, the house is very comfortably equipped with everything one would need for a weekend away with the family! The clean nature is breathtaking and the children were busy all day outside fishing, cycling, walking and exploring as they call it! It was also fun to explore the village! Uitvlugt Ponds is a beautiful place. Surrounded by the most beautiful natural scenes.
Hiking trails to waterfalls are beautiful and worthwhile. Nice experience with all the goats around the house. Stars were fantastic. Dirt road to farm is bad. Trout ponds didn't hold much fish and hadn't been stocked for a long time, fished hard for 3 days and only saw a few fish. Will not go again for fishing unfortunately.

The natural surroundings are beautiful and there's a lot of game to see.
The house we stayed in was very nice, neat and clean when we got there. The dams are a nice walking distance from the cottage. The walking route offered us very nice views and was very well pointed out to us. Would love to book with them again and just convinced a few other people to come along next year. Thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality.
We had a very nice stay on Vera's farm. One of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country in on the 13 km route. Vera says that the one on the 6 km route is even more beautiful, will have to go and look. We saw different kinds of antelope and zebras. The bonus was the small dogs on the property.
Was unbelievable. Will recommend that directions to Dullstroom and back be more descriptive. Directions were not good, but we enjoyed it a lot. Thank you for the hospitality.

Clean and tidy with a good location. Game, hiking trails, fishing, bird watching, nice time and rest. Family-friendly.
The place is incredibly clean and a very nice view. There is no security and we all know how unsafe farms are, even the front door lock didn't work, fixed it myself. DStv is not working. Walking routes are not generic, although there is a map of them. The geyser overflows, the fridge makes the funniest noises, sounds like a demon chicken in the middle of the night. Our new family's first holiday is one to remember for all the wrong reasons.
