Reception was friendly. Unit was spacious with plenty of space. When load shedding occurred, I was able to turn on the emergency light inside the unit. Breakfast is on time and delicious. Really something special.

It was my first time that I stayed over in the town of Klerksdorp, the venue that I chose to overnight at Ukarimu Guest House, was an excellent choice that I certainly don't regret it. Friendly hosts, well priced, secure parking, good location, well kept rooms and breakfast fit for a king. I will most definitely return back if I should travel via Klerksdorp again.
Location was slightly noisy. Other guests were arriving at different times in the evening. Street side was a little noisy in the early morning but is understandable for the location. Our room was closest to the street and hence we had most noise from the street. The accommodation served our purpose for our trip. Thank you.

We could rest peacefully after the long drive while the children played in the pool in front of our porch. The children's room was a bit cramped without windows, but there are enough fans.

The 'portable' a/c was not working and was promised to fix it but never materialised. Last but not least are windows - without burglar bars! - opened to let some cool night air into the room.
The parking is a big problem. It's definitely not wheelchair friendly. Bed slept well.

Upon our arrival we had to find out that although our reservation was confirmed, it had not been passed on to the guest house and they were unaware of the reservation. However, the hostess was very helpful and accommodated us immediately. She had to find other accommodation for guests who made reservations after us.

After a long day on the road, this comfortable clean unit was the ideal place to settle down for a much needed night's rest. The beautiful tree-rich area with its well-tended garden and swimming pool truly offers an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. My vehicle was safe behind security gates and the reception was friendly and helpful. This exceptional guest house located in a quiet environment, I feel free to recommend to anyone who can appreciate this peace and quiet.

The guest house is well located in a good neighborhood and very nice pool and porch to sit on. The room is big enough with two single beds that are clean and tidy. Everything needed to spend the night there is there. Would strongly recommend it in the summer for children who like to swim there and spend the night. The hostess was available if there was anything we wanted. Just miss the little flower in the room.
For someone who works in the tourism industry myself, I really appreciated being helped quickly and kindly. Even all my unusual requests were answered immediately and they went out of their way to do it for me. Thank you very much Karin and Martie - you provided a great service.

Only suggestion I have: no one to ask about supper or breakfast, didn't know the area so well, if there could be more info about places to eat, or options of eating in. No Wi-Fi or to enquire about it, if you have the facilities, why must the customer ask, I will not! Had to leave early, so the was no breakfast, disappointing though. But, overall stay was good. The room and bed linen was clean. Ceiling fan did not work and pedestal fan was too noisy. Could not hear TV. Light in room not sufficient to read.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The room was neat and we felt safe. We had everything we needed for our accommodation. Can recommend this guesthouse to anyone.
No aircon. No suitable place to hang clothes or pack things. Just a wardrobe that's seen better days with wire hangers. No proper place to put anything down in the bathroom. Powder milk instead of fresh milk in the room. It rained and the roof leaked like a river.

We had a nice stay and it was very neat and well-equipped. As we were foreign to Klerksdorp, the hosts went out of their way to indicate the routes to us. We couldn't stay for breakfast the Sunday morning because we had to leave early, but the hosts provided us with food for the road. We really appreciated that they walked the extra mile for us. Parking is tight. Air conditioning was great. Different glasses (wine, "highball", whiskey, eg) would have been a plus. Although there are liquid soaps, shampoos etc. is, a cookie soap remains another winner. It was absent. The supply of water to the shower is stingy and you have to dance around to get wet. It was pleasant. Private and peaceful with birdsong. Strategic use of large mirrors makes the room and bathroom appear spacious. Choice of available TV channels is great.
Guesthouse was clean and tidy but that's where it ends. I was informed the morning after my breakfast that the breakfast was not included in the rate. The cost for the breakfast (R55) is definitely not value for what you get - if I had known in advance I would have much rather gone to eat breakfast at a restaurant. It would have been better for probably less money. You have no choice in what you get - except how you want your eggs.
There is no air conditioning. Breakfast is not included in the reservation and I paid extra for it.
Found everything in order. No complaints.

This was the second time I've stayed at Ukarimu and will go back again. The supper and breakfast was good and the room neat, clean and comfortable.
