If you want to pamper yourself, come and spend a few days at Umbhaba Eco Lodge. You are carried on the hands from the moment you arrive there until you have to go home again with a heavy heart. Thank you very much Freedom and your team. We had a wonderful time with you.
They need fridges in the rooms please. Kids play area - please supply more activities for kids to do or play on. Kids enjoyed the stay but not much to do for them.

Menu at restaurant is poor. Towels are rags. Clean and tidy with comfortable bed, and nice bathroom. No TV. Good service.
It's a very peaceful place. Just feel they could offer a bit more with what's there. But a nice quick overnight place.
Almal is baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. kos wonderlik. Ons sal volgende keer verkies om die een te kies met die TV. As 'n mens moeg is wil jy maar bietjie ontspan. Baie dankie vir als. Dit was 'n wonderlike wegbreek. sal definitief weer so maak en deur julle bespreek.
Staff were very friendly and pleasant, the lodge itself is very clean and tidy. Everything to be a very nice place to stay.
On arrival everyone was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful place in nature and close to everything. The rooms for the price were excellent, very comfortable bed and large comfortable room and shower. The waiter at the diner was very friendly and so was the manager. Food was very tasty and very large portions. Breakfast was incredibly tasty and again large portions. Looking forward to being back again!

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant's food is incredible and so affordable that any other eating place will not be able to match the quality and portions for the price. We are definitely going to make this an annual institution as a couple.

It was neat and quiet, with very good food.
All was well and good except for the fact that there was also a larger group of people there who did not give other people any peace and quiet. They screamed and screamed both nights until after midnight. Couldn't communicate civilly. They did not pay much attention to the lodge's security. When I couldn't sleep, I just read.
14 km outside the Kruger National Park, neat, peaceful surroundings and the rooms are beautifully furnished. Breakfast that was included was delicious. Really enjoyed it there. The wine by the pool and the nice dinner (from a good menu) were also nice. Can recommend it anytime. I will definitely go there again and again and again!
The place is very neat. Management went out of their way to give us another, and better, room due to a problem with the shower spout.

Everything else was exceptional including room service, would go back. Only thing that ended up irritating me was the security guy that now was making us uncomfortable by coming to our room more every 2 minutes telling us we are making noise even when we were talking with the conversation he couldn't even hear from outside, but overall stay was awesome. Clean accommodation, would definitely recommend the place and I would go back again.

For a reasonable price I got a living room, bedroom, bathroom and breakfast. The dinner was also very good. The place is nice and tidy and everyone was friendly.
Very nice place to stay on the way or on the way back from the Kruger.
Only the beds' mattresses were very hard and we really had a hard time getting up the next morning.
Nice to stay in Panorama route, we were back home on motorbike through Panorama route/surroundings the next day.
Neat rooms and good service. Will definitely stay with them again when we are in the Hazyview area.
