Umdlalo Lodge is an upmarket guest lodge located in Umtentweni close to the Umtentweni main beach. The lodge is easily accessible from the N2 toll road, and within easy reach of Shelly Beach and the South Coast Mall. Popular golf courses are located nearby and within easy reach of the lodge.

The 8 luxurious rooms cater to the needs of holidaying families and business representatives alike. Guests have a choice of Executive Suites, Deluxe Suites and a Honeymoon Suite. Each suite contains a king-size bed, its own en suite facilities, and a sitting area and terrace. Room facilities include a 32-inch flat-screen with a selection of DStv channels, air-conditioning and a ceiling fan, a telephone, a safe for valuables, mini-fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Umdlalo Lodge is home to the well-known ZiZi’s Restaurant, where dining is an experience, and a lot of time is spent sourcing, preparing, and presenting the best food on the coast. Zizi’s is famous for its special starters, lamb shanks, kassler chops, surf and turf and other house specialities which change regularly. The restaurant also caters for vegetarians and special dietary needs. The lodge has a full liquor license and there is a carefully selected wine list with wines to compliment all meal choices and preferences.

Day conferences can be arranged in the main private dining room with seating for up to 60 delegates. Specialised catering for smaller and more intimate conferences is available. The lady's bar lounge, with its unique décor and the expansive veranda with sea views, has become a popular venue for business meetings and social get-togethers.
