The house is a large, clean, and comfortable open-plan property that accommodates up to 10 guests. Glass patio doors open directly onto a large covered patio that overlooks the sea and a private garden. There is a large open-plan kitchen with pots, pans, cooking utensils, cutlery, and crockery supplied.
There is a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, including a microwave, fridge-freezer, and toaster. The lounge is large with Hi-Fi, plays CDs, radio and has a USB port for your mp3 player. There is a separate lounge with TV and a DStv dish is available, guests are to bring their own smartcard. Patio area overlooking the beach with a braai (BBQ) and garden furniture with a private garden and there is a garage for 2 cars and storage.
There is an onsite housekeeper if you would like to make use of her for basic cleaning and washing up there is an extra charge

Security guard is on site at night.
Will definitely come again! The house and view is stunning and has everything you need. I would just add that there is Wi-Fi, washing machine and folding chairs available. Also that the road to the beach is terribly steep and not suitable for older people who have difficulty walking.
We enjoyed our stay very much, the place was exactly as we expected and comfortable and cosy. On disappointment was that it did not have a dishwasher.
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was just perfect. We will definitely be going back as soon as possible.
Next trip we hoping I'll have a pool.
The owner of the house, Roman, who lives in another part of the country, goes out of his way to make one's stay a pleasure. Patience, who lives on site, is an absolute gem.
Love to be there again, just a pool at the premises would have been more fun and convenient. Otherwise it was a perfect place for a family fun weekend.

The service and helpfulness of Precious is outstanding. The house is very neat and nice for a large family or family gathering. There is everything you need and more. The view is breathtaking and if the weather cooperates you can spend the whole day on the stoep. The beach is a stone's throw from the gate and it is clean and peaceful.

Bathrooms very modern and clean. The housekeeper Patience is very helpful and always friendly. The night guard gives extra peace of mind and keeps everyone and everything safe. Deserves a 5 star for sure. Will go again for sure, can't wait.
Perfect location for a family holiday on the beach.
We had very bad luck with the weather but having such a lovely place to stay made it all still worth it. The beach is a minute's walk away and the view of the constant migration of whales and dolphins was phenomenal. Will definitely be back.
Might recommend a clothesline, or even better, a tumble dryer, as poor Patience struggled to death with the laundry.

Amazing weekend at Umzumbe Beach House, beautiful house and a beautiful place, ideal family vacation destination, good fishing ground, ideally situated right on the beach easy access, fully secured with alarm and guard patrol will definitely be going there again.
Found accommodation easily and enjoyed it very much. The place is very well located with direct access to the beach. Adequate parking and safe area.

The most beautiful view! House is spacious enough for many people. Stunning place. Will go again anytime.
Photos can be misleading. In this case, what you see is what you get. Our reception was friendly. Had a problem with decoder but with help from owner it was quickly resolved. Security was very good. There are variety of birds, would suggest that owner place a "birdfeeder". If you want to rest, this is the place. Will see you again.

We were trapped in the house for 2 days because it was stormy outside. Other than that, the place was definitely not prepared for our arrival. The cleaner had to hurriedly try to cover bed linen, iron, etc. We had to wait about 3 hours before we could go to our rooms. During the night it rained so hard and rained in several places. One room's bedding closest to the window was completely wet with rain. The house definitely needs some TLC. Despite that, we still had a great time and the house definitely has potential, especially since it offers direct access to the beach.
The place is good, house big enough and clean.
The house needs some maintenance. The 2 hotplates only lukewarm. A stuck bathroom door etc., but the housekeeper assured us the homeowner planned to do renovations later this year. The path down to the beach can also have more steps. On the positive side - our family are "foodies" and enjoyed our holes in the spacious kitchen and the lovely veranda right on the sea!
Spacious and comfortable. Beautiful views and seconds away from the beach and fishing areas. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a getaway from the real world.
The venue was one of the best I've been too. Friends just suggested perhaps adding in a swimming pool, but in all, a great place. And also maybe if the bush in front can be cut back a bit to see more of the beautiful ocean view, that would make it even more special. Thank you all very much!!!
