The house is very centrally located and provides all the basic needs. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountains. The fireplace helped a lot to make the house nice and warm. To be one of the top accommodation options in Underberg, maintenance work will need to be done.
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything you need is there. We can definitely recommend Under the Oak!
Curtains coming off railings. Lamp in main bedroom can't reach electricity outlet. Lamp shades in bedroom need replacing. No placemats for dining. Doors very hard to to lock and unlock at both back and front. Back door broken, cut my hand on broken handle. Could do with shelf in bathroom to put toiletries.
The place has everything one needs. Difficulty opening the gate to enter the property. House didn't smell very good either. Banks are old and dilapidated.
Nice house in town near several nice places. Fantastic garden and porch.
A can of paint can make the place look better.
Under The Oak is a beautiful cottage in Underberg. Well equipped, large yard, lovely porch where you can braai, with a view of the mountain. Fireplace. Very comfortable house that I can certainly recommend to anyone who wants to go to Underberg!
Covered parking is a must as there was a huge hailstorm one afternoon. It might help if you could activate the alarm every time you go somewhere. Otherwise very quiet for our needs. However, grill was not cleaned. Comfortable chairs on the porch would have been welcome too!
The guest house is conveniently located in Underburg. Clean and neat.
