She attended to the problem with the toilet promptly and the workers fixed it even on a Sunday afternoon. The workers had clearly been well trained and were very polite and efficient.

It is a very quiet place to spend the night. The green grass in front of the houses is definitely a plus. Magda is a very friendly hostess. The sunset on the farm is picture-perfect.
The different units for 4 people are so comfortably furnished and it's so nice if you want to visit there as a group of friends or hold a family gathering. The joint braai area and kitchen make it really comfortable and in the evening you can listen for the foxes.
I love the privacy, swimming and braai facilities. The air conditioner works like a dream in the summer heat. Everything is just great. Really nice place to spend the night.

The owner is a particularly hospitable woman. She and her husband made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and helped us with the firewood. The place is very safe, away from the town noise. The dirt road was definitely worth it. We experienced a violent thunderstorm during our barbecue, with the most beautiful lightning on the farm as well as the most beautiful sunset and sunrise. Not to mention the Jackal's cry, how beautiful it was to hear. The pool was there to cool off in the intense heat. There was coffee, tea, fresh milk and sugar with delicious baked biscuits. Thanks again. You will definitely see us again in the near future.
Well situated as a stopover. The chalets are clean but the units are "rustic" in areas like doors, windows and some other finishings. The beds are, however, comfortable and the welcome was very warm and friendly.

Friendly owners who are helpful. Neat rooms and bathrooms with lovely hot showers. Keep in mind that the living and dining areas are outside and separate from the bedrooms. Although the sleeping units advertise 2 bedrooms, different groups of adults cannot use the 2 rooms because you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the bathroom.
Very neat and practical accommodation on a beautiful farm The units are grouped around a common boma which makes it ideal for groups of friends or families who travel together and want to relax around the fire.

We were unfortunately delayed on our journey to Unity Guest House, but the owners waited for us until after 21:00 and received us very kindly and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are well appointed with everything needed and very comfortable overnight accommodation. Will definitely visit again and recommend them to anyone looking for accommodation in that area.

The road from Pretoria to Augrabies is long. An overnight stay at Unity is amazing. Cool off in the pool after a long day on the road, air conditioning in the rooms. Nice. And if you're looking for an amazing wedding venue, take a look!

The approximately 4.5 km dirt road to the accommodation was due to the lot of rain, not everywhere in good condition, and an ordinary sedan might struggle a little in places. Furthermore, Unity Guest Farm is very peaceful, you feel safe and it's a good place to spend the night. Sufficient provisions have been made for coffee, tea and Cremora. Unfortunately we couldn't use it because it was load shedding the morning we needed it. Thanks to Magda for such a clean and comfortable place to stay.

The cottages are quite small for 4 with 2 teenage boys and there is no real sitting area in the rooms so if the weather is bad this makes it quite cramped. There is a communal cooking area which was ideal for us as we were the only guests at the time but it could be a little crowded if the whole place is full. The farm is lovely and peaceful. The owner was very helpful. I would recommend a few extra pictures on the website of the rooms.
They had a beautiful entertainment area, supplied firewood for a braai or night fire, they also had a beautiful, clean pool to cool down in. Nowhere on our stayed ever have we seen such lush, thick, green lawns. Definately an oasis in the desert.
We only made a quick overnight stop there, but would definitely recommend them. We were much later than originally planned due to traffic, but Magda was nice and we will gladly use their accommodation again in the future. Very nice facilities such as the braai boma, picnic porch and swimming pool.

Within 5 min of payment the receptionist called to confirm arrangements. The unit was ready at very short notice. Very good option on the way to Upington.
We turned off all the lights and sat stargazing until late at night. The hostess stopped by to make sure everything was ok! If you are in a regular vehicle, you only have to hear what the road looks like up to the guest house!
Lovely farm stay with nicely decorated cottages sleeping 4. Adequately equipped with microwave, fridge and basic cutlery. There is a communal kitchen and braai pit in the center of the cottages so the setup allows for larger groups to travel and entertain together. The friendly farmer-owners took me to see the buffalo and boerbokke and even invited me to join them for a braai. There is a lot of birdlife around the farm and one can take walks around the area. The gravel road from the N14 to the farm is in good condition, even after a much-welcome downpour the previous evening. And what magnificent skies as the storm built up! The shower water did not have much hot water but it was really hot, so not really a problem. I would have liked a reading light next to the bed but the main light was bright enough for reading, so a minor issue.
Hospitable, clean, just right for an overnight stop on the way home.

We had a lovely stay. Magda and Frikkie are incredible people. We saw all the animals on the farm and there is even a horse cart you can take a ride on. You rarely find this kind of hospitality these days. We will definitely sleep over again and recommend this place to everyone.

The children really enjoyed the feeling of the farm, especially the old man who dragged Frikkie behind the bakkie with them, the big dogs, warthog, goats and buffalo, and they could run around and play to their heart's content. We will definitely make a visit there again!
We stayed the night on our way to the Western Cape. So neat. Wonderful air con in beautiful rooms. If you don't like jovial people you shouldn't stay here, these people are warm and great at hospitality. Dinner was a BBQ with a nice fire and everyone had a good time. It wasn't part of our original plan but we stayed there again on our way back because we had such a nice time there. We will see you guys again.
The "tame" buffalo visiting the farm at night were awesome! Where else can you get to within an arm's length from a full grown buffalo bull? I can recommend this farm accommodation whole-heartedly.

The stay at Unity Guest House is an excellent option to start a holiday. This gives you the opportunity to drive a reasonable distance from Gauteng on your first day on your way to the Northern Cape or Namibia.
We only stayed the night, arrived late and drove again very early the next morning. Our place was clean and tidy. There was enough hot water for everyone. We slept little, but not about uncomfortable beds, we hung out around the fire until early! I recommend Unity to anyone. Magda we will definitely see you again!
