It's a very nice place, will definitely go again. Was there for sports - couldn't enjoy the place much. Would love to sit and grill. If so convenient and neat.

We enjoyed our stay.
We were kindly received and made to feel at home by our hostess. The stay in the apartment was pleasant. It serves as a good base from which to explore Swellendam and the surrounding area. Be sure to visit the Drostyd Museum, Carriage Hall, Old Jail, Craft Yard and Mayville Rose Garden. There are nice coffee-drinking places and places to eat. Older persons may have difficulty carrying their luggage up the stairs to the accommodation on the first floor. Help was offered with that. The water pressure in the shower could be better. Some of the blinds at the windows are out of order. The noise of traffic on the N2 is something you have to get used to. Breakfast is optionally available at an extra cost. Overall, Upper Deck offers safe, quality accommodations.
We were 6 adults. I would say it is more suitable for just 4 adults or 4 adults with 2 children. Very nice braai area. All accessories there to grill. Friendly and helpful hostess. Also didn't mind 4 more people joining us for a barbecue. Secure parking. Good value for money.
A pity about the road noise off the N2 that could bother some. The place is better than the photos.
The apartment has everything one needs. It's a shame that it is located so close to the N2.
Maybe another bathroom.

Everything is so neat and we lacked nothing. The only negative comment we can make is that the noise from the highway is quite bad. However, the hostess was very friendly and accommodating. And the apartment is beautiful, spacious and extremely tidy.
Friendly service and the unit is clean and tidy and has everything we needed. Lovely sitting on the stoep and chatting late afternoon in the tranquility of Swellendam.
I booked the place on behalf of family, feedback from them was that it was really great and that they really enjoyed it. The place is very neat and completely met all their needs. Will use this again anytime if needed.

Enjoyed the stay and everything was clean. Hosts were perfect and attentive but for a 1 bathroom apartment with 2 beds in the corridor, it was too expensive.
Dit was nog een van die mooiste plekkies wat ons besoek het, ek sal beslis weer gaan. Die atmosfeer was kalm en mooi.
