It was very convenient staying close to the CBD where my meeting was, and thanks a lot.
Very nice, place to stay is clean and tidy. Secure undercover parking, we would definitely use Urban Oasis again and recommend it.
The stay, for its intended purpose, was sufficient - not good and not bad. We needed a place to sleep close to a specific location, and that is what we got and nothing more or less. We arrived at Urban Oasis @ Perspectives and were told that we were sleeping in another building around the corner and that parking was at another building, but luckily someone came from the back and advised on alternative parking - you must make sure of this when you book as some of the parking is off-site. The parking garage was also not clearly marked, and we did not know where to go or how to get into the apartment building, but luckily the security saw us on the cameras walking about looking like we were lost. The apartment itself was clean but not spotless and had most of the amenities but not all, e.g. it had sugar and coffee but no milk, there was a hand towel but no mat for getting out of the shower, it had WiFi but none of the streaming services worked, etc. There was a sign that said that the pipes were noisy, and they were, and we could hear the lift going up and down from the apartment. The place just doesn't feel safe.
I was very disappointed as I felt like I was being catfished by the pictures of the place compared to the apartment itself. It is completely different. The apartment building had residents living there. I was under the impression we would be above an urban oasis restaurant/bar as per the pictures so in actual fact it was very disappointing. The housekeeper came to clean the apartment after 2 pm, that is so late for a place to be cleaned.
Neat and clean, but not at all according to what was said on the website, no king-size bed, nice view of Table Mountain and look straight into your neighbours' house where they are cooking and dressing.
Arrrived - had no electricity. Had to phone the agency to top up electricity as it is prepaid (can this not be checked before guests arrive?). Shower needs a proper clean. Algae growing on the sides on the shower.
