Simply superb accommodation nestled at the base of a beautiful mountain on a stunning farm run by wonderful hosts. We couldn't have asked for more peace and tranquility, sounds of a waterfall and birds all around.
The Nest at Urban Retreat has its own private kloof. The home is absolutely beautiful, you have views all around with the big windows. The fireplace is fantastic. Wood is provided. You can sit under the stars by the campfire. The bathrooms are clean and nice, and the bed is comfy and king-sized. This place is really well-priced for what you get. The surrounding mountains in Anysberg are also great to explore if you're willing to hike without a path.
Need a 4x4. Very long dust road. Last 200m of road access to The Nest and campsite road is very bad. Got two punctures by the end of the trip. Very well furnished accommodation. There are baboons and animals around. No cell phone reception. Very friendly and helpful hosts.
