51 guests' feedbackWe love Uurpan. This is our home away from home. It's nice and close to us and the road is very beautiful. The lodge itself is an oasis and the staff are super friendly. Everything is so neat and it is so peaceful there. This is our getaway when we want to relax and we make sure to visit there often. The food is top notch and there is everything you need and more.
I always make sure to book with Uurpan Safari Lodge if we have to be in Schweizer. The service is wonderful and the rooms very nice and tidy.

This is not our first time at Uurpan Safari Lodge. We love it there so much that I make sure we check in there every time we go to Schweizer.
WiFi in the room is basically unavailable due to the distance from the restaurant. Only one towel in the room. Emergency light did not work during load shedding, arrived in pitch dark and also had no light in the room.
We were there for a wedding. What an amazing welcome we did not receive. They are great, clean, tidy and the nature is beautiful and the wildlife is visible from the eye. Wow we were speechless. Really 100% recommendable.
It's close to us as we can't really get away with work often. It is picture-perfect, neat, luxurious and you are treated like a VIP. The staff are all incredibly friendly and more than willing to help with anything. It's food is top notch and the game drive is a must. It becomes our monthly getaway where we can recharge.
The place is beautiful, clean and from start to finish our stay was a great joy. Wonderful staff, not only was the food delicious, the guys' interaction with guests is great! Obviously the large herd of buffalo and sable, as well as the other animals that welcomed us, was a big bonus. I want the recipe for the rusk that was waiting for us in the room!

Uurpan Safari Lodge surprised us from the first step. The amount of game, as well as the variety on the way to the reception was something incredible. We were kindly received by the staff. The rooms are tidy and a comfortable size and well equipped for travelers of any kind. The experience we had at Uurpan Safari Lodge will have us already looking for a date to return again and this time with our whole family.
The modern accommodation was tastefully decorated, clean and neat. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant and it was a pleasure to take in the beautiful surroundings. Good value for money and highly recommended.

We were disappointed when we arrived to hear that there was no longer a Jacuzzi, as that was the main reason we chose Uurpan. We just found Uurpan when one of the requirements was looking for a 'Jacuzzi'. We drove more than 3 and half hours specially to Uurpan. This is false advertising and unacceptable. Apart from that it was very nice, the service was excellent. Love the atmosphere and the wildlife. The decor is amazing! I would recommend it to anyone and will definitely go again.
Uurpan Safari Lodge pleasantly surprised me with the neat layout, friendly staff and fantastic facilities. I am going to make this my only accommodation in the future when I am traveling in the NW province.

Just loved the rooms- wonderful attention to detail and comfort! The game drive at R90 pp is exceptional value, and we saw masses of game, including lechwe, sable, copper springbok etc. Just a very special place all round! The only thing I would suggest needs attention is the wine list and more training for the chefs, the food was perfectly adequate but with a little more attention to techniques, could add that 5th star!

With our first stay at Uurpan I was not very happy. Room was very small and near the kitchen and there was a lot of noise. One wants to relax and not hear noise. We booked a larger room the second time and it was much better. I would just like to have a fridge in the room and maybe a braai area to cook our own food. Furthermore, the accommodation and service were excellent and we will go again.
The general environment created was quite relaxing, comfortable, and to enjoy the beauty with competitive costs.

Totally exceeded my expectations!
Our room was not ready when we arrived (after 4pm). The towels had stains on. The dinner at night took 2 hours to arrive. Where was management? Dishes and wines on the menu were not available. I would have expected more for the price we paid.
One of the best and cleanest places I have ever slept. Their service, hospitality and value for money cannot be compared to other places. I will book all my accommodation with them from now on if I need to sleep over!
A very enjoyable experience. Great service and food. The venue is really tastefully equipped. Next time I'll definitely won't be coming alone and also not for such a short time.

The lodge is great and clean, staff is very helpful and the cook accommodated me with my diet.
Very clean and comfortable. Would only recommend that Uurpan make braai facilities available at their lodge. If you visit the bushveld, you would like to watch the wildlife around the fire.
