The house is beautiful inside although it doesn't look great from the outside. The area is very safe. There is everything in the house that you will need. The service from the host was excellent. The decor is beautiful. There's enough privacy as well.

Atmosphere of the unit was calm and welcoming.
Neat little house in a safe area. Early morning walks at sunrise. I was always so excited to see the sea just around the corner. With our family of 8, there was always hot water for showering after the sea trip. Just a block from the main street with all the shops needed, there was no need to drive around too much. I would definitely stay there again.

Walking distance to businesses, as well as the beach. Our grandsons aged 2 and 4 enjoyed it very much. Enough leeway. Quiet area. I will go to Uvongo Sands again and again. Clean and equipped with everything you need. Safe.

We were 6 adults and 1 child, there was enough space, everything required was available. Very close to all amenities, really enjoyed our stay.
Ceiling fan was noisy and seemed unsafe. Box fan in other room was insufficient. Kitchen too small for 8 pax. Furniture was old and not trendy or modern. No list of activities in the area. Not made aware of the loadshedding. Candles provided, but had no wicks. Drain blocked, but agent managed to resolve.

Was a lovely stay, attention to a few little changes would make the stay amazing.
Was a nice place to stay at. It was a safe, clean, peaceful place right near the beach. Shops close by. Not forgetting the amazing Royal Bakery a road above.
The accommodation was not quite as clean as I would expect, shower and stove were not clean, all that was in place was a tattered mop that didn't even work. The bedding was nice and clean and it is a convenient walking distance to the beach and shops.
Needs some TLC. The mattresses were worn and the washing machine did not want to work well.
When we get there the shower doors from both toilets we stuck the side lamp for the bedroom that was 4 sleepers was broken and also the blinds were not opening properly.
Braaier's feet were broken off. Light doesn't work. Car at gate is broken apart, can't even lock. No rear safety gate. And the people who live next door on the same plot run their own business from home. And I just hope I get my deposit back.

There is enough space for big and small. Access to the beach is walking distance which makes it fun to walk with the kids. The space at the cottage is big enough without us having to fall over each other. Thank you for your hospitality.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation and will definitely use it again. We were there off season so was very private.

If possible, arrange a waiting unit.
Although the stove did not work one hundred percent and we had to buy two light bulbs for bedside lamps, the rest was perfectly adequate and clean for a week's stay. I also feel that the broom and mop can be easily replaced.
Uvongo Sands offered us a good family getaway. Will definitely use them again next year.
We really enjoyed our holiday, the place is spacious and good value for money. We will definitely stay there again. I must mention that the place could have been cleaned a little better, but it was not completely unacceptable.
The place is well equipped with more than enough sleeping space, as well as everything you need, affordable and nice and close to the beach.

We enjoyed the stay, although we had some challenges with toilets that didn't flush properly and lights that had problems which we were not told about. The bathroom and toilet in the lounge is not a good idea.
Uvongo Sands 6 is a nice place with lots of space, the nice grass and dirt floor is the best for the children to play, the complex is quiet and kept tidy. The unit has a lot of space and we had a nice stay.
We were not far from the shopping centers, nor the beach and lagoon. Kids loved the fact that is was so close yet not too close. If you feel hungry during your day at the beach there is a small take away shop that sells the best Russian and chips, and they are not expensive. Truly a diamond place in hiding. If it is possible we would go there every year for our holiday. The people are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
I will definitely recommend this unit, customer service was excellent and had no problems getting in and out the unit. The unit is walking distance to a very nice restaurant, beach and local shops.
Need curtain or blinds on doors. It will be nice if they had a freezer for our bait.
Very close to Uvongo beach, short drive to Ramsgate. Place needs some attention, back room door lock is broken, windows need attention, bathroom ceiling fan very dirty. Shovel and broom basically broken. Lights that come on with turn on power were a plus. We had a great stay. Was sad to leave.
For some far from the sea. Nice big place. Put up a canopy at the braai area, as the apartment residents can look down on visitors.
There were the following shortcomings: No soap dispensers in showers. the braai was dirty beyond use, the ceiling fans need a cleaning, the front door needs attention, had trouble opening and closing.

Uvongo Sands 6 is a nice and spacious place at ground level. It was more than I expected and very neat. Everything we needed was at our disposal. The place is walking distance from the swimming beach as well as from shops. Very centrally located! I would recommend it for sure!
Place was very nice and neat. Only globe in the lounge was not working and lock on the front door was struggling to lock and back wall needs painting. Otherwise everything was good. A great experience, thank you.
The bedding of one of the double beds was terribly dirty and clearly not changed after previous guests. I assume that the previous guests may have made the bed and therefore the bedding was not changed, but I still suggest that even if the beds have been made, it should also be checked whether the bedding has not been used. The bed I'm talking about had visible white spots on red sheets. The pellet furniture is not very comfortable, especially not for older people.
Upon arrival, we advised Andre that the main bedroom external door was not operational whereupon he advised that he would attend to it the next day and apologized for the inconvenience. He never did arrive to attend to the issue.
The apartment is nice and big and we were 4 adults and 2 little ones. No one was under each other's feet. The kitchen is well equipped and it was nice that we had our own braai area. Will definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

For the price it was more than adequate. The house was nice and spacious with everything you need.
Wall in dining room had spill marks down the wall. The kitchen was not clean behind the washing machine and fridge. The 1 toilet was leaking and was filthy behind the toilet. The bedding was old. The furniture was not painted and looked dirty.
Bedding already laundered and poor quality. Fridge door no more containers to pack something in, so little space left for all your things that need to stay cold. The mattresses are old and worn out. The furniture is battered and clocks on the wall are all standing. Bedside lamps in master bedroom do not work. No bread board in place and the steak knives and forks are the worst quality I have ever seen. No inventory in place and although it says it sleeps 6, there were only 5 plates and not one beer glass. Kitchen cabinets need work. TV no remote and poor image. No what. Grill out of place needs a good scrub. Actually skim off all the old fat.
Needs maintenance, outdated, could do with more comfortable furniture.

It was really our best vacation spot yet. Before the time we communicated with owner, very friendly lady. Cleaning services sent us location without us asking. Place was nice and clean. We felt so at home. Lawn for children to play, our own pvt braai place, hangout area, beds are so soft and comfortable, 100% safe. Walking distance to beach and shops. Ons was 'n ouerpaar met ons volwasse kinders. Ons het heerlik gebly en die plekkie het alles wat jy benodig vir vakansieverblyf. Dit is baie veilig en jy het tot jou eie privaat stoep met braaigeriewe daarby. Ons was loopafstand van die strand en vir ons wat baie van stap hou kon ook af stap na Shelly Beach toe. Ons was baie tevrede met ons vakansieplek en sal dit definitief weer bespreek vir die volgende seevakansie en beveel dit aan.
Wish we had booked a longer stay, will definitely stay here in future. Did not have to worry about safety. Shops and restaurants very close by. Lovely, quiet and peaceful.

Well-equipped for any holiday maker, the place is large and safe enough for the whole family and has created a wonderful holiday feel by the furniture. The beds were also very comfortable to sleep on, which is a big plus. The whole family was happy.
We had a very nice stay. The accommodation is very spacious. Andre was very helpful and went out of his way to make us comfortable. It is safe and within walking distance of the beach and shops. We will definitely stay there again. I would just suggest that there is a decent laundry rack available for towels when it rains.
The visit was awesome and travelling by shuttle it was easy to get to. The place is very safe and clean. Very quiet from the hustle and bustle it's a sure place to go to. I am booking again and have told friends about it.
Nice to park your car and everything is within walking distance. Beautiful and spacious unit with 2 and a half bedrooms with almost everything you need to have a great vacation. Unfortunately, the safety of curious farm boys is put at risk by the dilapidated unit right next to Uvongo Sands 6. Privacy is also compromised by the fact that the entire complex only has two washing lines, one in the visiting area of Uvongo 6 and one behind the dilapidated unit. So everyone uses No 6's washing line.

Place were not very clean.
Bit rainy and overcast, but we did enjoy it. Place was clean and neat.
Thank you for the way you treated us from the day of inquiries until it was time for our vacation, you always kept us informed. For us as a family it was the best holiday ever. All we did was to relax and enjoy the holiday. It was wonderful staying at Uvongo Sands 6. Even the cleaning services were great and André from Zippy Cleaning services made us feel so welcome and helped us. Many thanks to all of you, we will use your services again.
The unit is conveniently located within walking distance of the beach and shopping stores.
We had a great stay and will definitely go again. The place has a lot of space and the private garden was very nice with our little one-year-old boy. It was very convenient with the washing machine and we didn't need anything that wasn't already in the unit. It was nice and quiet and comfortable.
The place was clean and tidy and met our basic needs. The first three days were very noisy with all the hacking on the outer walls. The place is nice and close to the sea, so before you are too tired, you are at your destination. Our dogs just had such a good time. One suggestion is to maybe put some hooks in the bathroom to hang your washcloth.
It was central, close to all amenities and to the beach. No beach view but close enough to hear the waves in the morning. Enjoyed my stay. Just pack own towels for showering, and cleaning detergents.
We had a pleasant stay and the house was very cute except for the mattresses of the double beds which were slept through and for a very unpleasant smell in the cupboards. They may have to leave the cupboards open when not in use. Other than that, everything was as expected. Will definitely visit again.
The house met basic amenities. The stove, especially plates and oven can use attention. The large bedroom with 3 beds is somewhat dark and needs better lighting. The proximity to the beach is a plus and also that the house has no stairs. The communication by the owner and directions were excellent.
We enjoyed the time and it was a home away from home for us. It's small enough to keep to the side, but big enough not to step on each other's toes. My family and I had a great rest!
I just feel like the TV could at least permanently have channels 1, 2 & eTV for those that don't have DStv.
Uvongo Sands 6 met our requirements. Everything was clean and tidy and it is conveniently close to the beach.
This place meets all the basic requirements. Just one issue: the picture of the pool. Absolutely no sea view or pool on the premises. Otherwise absolutely great and will definitely be back.

Anyone who is looking for peacefulness and wants to enjoy the beach, Uvongo is ideal.
We would definitely recommend the property and will even book the place again in the future. Unfortunately there is no sea view but otherwise a very nice stay.
The pictures don't really show what the place looks like outside and I certainly wouldn't have booked if I had known. The place was musty and the cleaners tried to get rid of it JIK, so you couldn't live with the JIK and musty smell.
I will recommend this place to any family who needs space for the kids. The two bedrooms are spacious and the two bathrooms are very comfortable. The living area is huge and there's enough space for lots of people to have a good time. We liked the fact that the place had a front and back lawn, and the outside braai was fantastic. Walking-distance from Uvongo Beach, about 150 m, ideal, and quite manageble. Nice holiday spot. Book and enjoy!

It doesn't look anything like the pictures. The linen was grey and old and the beds looked like they had been slept in. There was no light fittings, just bulbs hanging. The ceiling was full of mildew, as were the bathrooms. The fridge smelt of old fish. The inside doors had no handles so you couldn't lock the doors. We couldn't get in at the front door as the key didn't work. The whole outside area and the cottages around looked terrible.
There isn't even a grater and bottle opener. Toaster doesn't even work. Big problem with small, black ants.
