My reservation at another location did not have water when we arrived there due to the water problems on the South Coast. We canceled on arrival and the website helped us almost immediately with a place at Uvongo Square. The owner, Marius, went to clean and prepare the place for us at 7 o'clock in the evening. The service was very good and the apartment was comfortable enough for the 2 of us. We suggest that the owner perhaps provide a plate braai or gas braai on the balcony as it was a bit uncomfortable to walk up and down stairs to braai downstairs at the braai facilities and then carry everything up to eat. Overall we had a great time and would recommend the place.

The feeling of holiday with the choice of paint and cute holiday things hanging on the walls made it fun for us and the children, one 14 and the other 6. Everything was clean and tidy and the beds slept very well. Waking up early in the morning and being able to watch the dolphins and whales with a nice coffee is what a holiday should feel like. Thank you very much for the nice place!

The apartment is equipped with a full kitchenette as well as fans in the apartment which help with the heat that can be experienced on the South Coast in the summer. The double bed that was intended for the adults, we only slept on one night, as my husband and I both almost fell out of bed the next morning with back pain (definitely not a pregnant woman's dream). We decided to sleep on the pull out beds/sleeper couches with a steel frame that were intended for the children with our 4 year old in between. We stacked the mattresses from both sofas on top of each other. Although it was better than the double bed, it was still weak and we each spent the whole holiday with sore backs. During the day, we put up the pull-out beds again so that we had sofas to sit on. By the end of the holiday I was sitting on a white (moldy) plastic chair, instead of the uncomfortable sofas. Although the location of the flat is ideal, Uvongo Square 4 will never see me again until they get proper couches and a bed for that flat. It is very bad to go on vacation to rest, but one looks forward to going "to rest". It was supposed to be a holiday of rest and enjoying ourselves before our new little one arrived, only to return to Pretoria tired and sore. The curtains in the bathroom were also mouldy. I realize that places by the sea sometimes have the problem of things going mouldy, but it's a health risk and I feel that you can't rent facilities in such a condition, especially not at R1000 a night!
