There is no wall or closure between the bedroom and bathroom. At least the shower is behind glass. The toilet was part of the bedroom configuration.
Very comfortable and clean. The bedside lamp decided to pack up while we were there. Would have appreciated if there were tissues in the room. One further finishing touch would perhaps be fresh milk for two cups of coffee and a rusk. I don't mention this to take away from a lovely place to sleep, but it would make the place just that little bit nicer.
The guest house is located in a stunning neighborhood that feels safe. The guest house is clean and tidy with a beautiful garden. Check-in and check-out went very smoothly and the owners were available at any time for your convenience. I would recommend Vaal River Guest House any time!

We were kindly welcomed at the very nice and tidy guest house, it's around the corner from Emerald Casino and places to eat are located nearby. There is a nice big swimming pool for the little ones. I enjoyed my stay. All problem I had was that I booked a double bed but got two single beds. I booked a pool view but was on the top floor without a view. I did not receive any information regarding breakfast and internet. Furthermore, the rooms were always clean and tidy and the quality of the accommodation was top notch.

We were warmly received and shown to our beautiful room. This is one of the cleanest rooms and a stone's throw from the Emerald Casino where we went to visit the Aquadome. Unfortunately not suitable for children. Thank you that we could bring our 2 small things with us, it was really appreciated. Breakfast was ready early. Garden is very neat. Absolutely no complaints from our side.

No cupboards, no microwave if you just want to heat something to eat. The TV doesn't work, the air conditioning is turned off. There is no place you can knock for help, just a paper on the table to explain how the TV works, but it doesn't help because it doesn't work. The people were very impersonal and parking was safe but difficult to move in and out of. The rooms are nice and tidy and are cleaned thoroughly which is always a plus. The fridge is a very big plus point. The area is close to shopping centers and a rugby stadium.
