We only use you when we travel, we have stayed on many farms in the Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and Karoo, but Vaalkop was definitely the worst, it was dirty when we arrived at 15h30 Friday 25 Oct 2024 (cobwebs in the door frame, behind the toilet, the floor was full of dust, the grates were dirty and dirty dishes in the sink). Lena, the cleaner, only arrived after 16h00 to clean. The first room on the left (where our son slept) had bat droppings on the bed every morning. R1500 per night for 4 people is outrageous for what you get, they should charge R100 p/n/p/p instead, it might be value for money. There was no laundry soap when Lena came in on the Saturday to clean, so we just went shopping in Deben herself after which she asked us to please leave some for her to clean on the Sunday. We are now still looking for the microwave oven which according to the description was available. If this was the 1st time we used you, we would definitely not use you again. Fortunately, we know that your standards are high and in my opinion Vaalkop Plaashuis does not belong on your page.
