Suites 1 and 3 are furnished with a queen-size bed and small double sleeper couch in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the 2nd bedroom. Suite 2 has a queen-size bed and bunk beds in the main bedroom and 2 singles in the 2nd bedroom. All bathrooms are fitted with a big bath and over-bath shower, basin and toilet. The open-plan living area has a lounge, kitchen, dining area, and a TV with a full DStv bouquet and Wi-Fi.
The outside patio gives a full view of the lawns, garden and the river, with a 12-seater table, benches, and a gas and charcoal braai. Garden chairs and tables provide additional outdoor seating and there is a fire pit. A heated splash pool-jacuzzi, with a further entertainment area and a cushioned seating area is available. Canoes are also available, and there is an on-site fishing spot under a big willow tree.
Nearby activities include game drives, horse riding, mountain biking and cycling. The owners live on the property, but the guest house is in a separate building.

25 guests' feedbackWe all had a very nice stay. It was great and the view is fantastic.
We were 16 people who had a great time. All the rooms are on the top floor, and have everything we needed. The braai and boma were good. We had fun rowing with everything they provided.
Very friendly owners. A large group of people with children. The children really enjoyed it, especially the river with the canoes and the warm water splash pool. Would definitely recommend and go there again. Have a great time and relax!
I would highly recommend this place. The host was incredible and went out of her way to provide us with everything we needed. The place was spotless and comes with everything you would need. A home away from home.
It was very nice and peaceful. The only thing is there's lots and lots of spiders down by the river under the wooden roof, under the blue gazebo and in the kayaks. But otherwise it was a very lekker weekend for the boy. We enjoyed our weekend. Thank you.
From the booking of Vale2Vaal to the reception, accommodation, venue was perfect for our group. Everyone really enjoyed the stay. Venue was superb, friendly people, Diane and Freddie were extremely accommodating and friendly.
The house is very clean and comfortable, the garden and view was designed for family and friends to relax. The sunset was placed there by God. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. All the perfect ingredients for enjoyment! We will be back.

Vale2Vaal's location is amazing! Beautiful place, friendly service and everything in the house that we needed. Even a generator with loadshedding, battery lights, gas stove and extra wood for fire. Thank you very much, Dianne, and your husband for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

We had an amazing weekend. The whole house caters for every small detail, everything you need is there, and more. And the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Great place to go, would definitely recommend it for any large group or family. It's a peaceful and quiet getaway with beautiful views!

Vale2Vaal is ideal for a large group of people and the property is very child friendly. The perfect getaway from the city without having to drive too far. Accommodation is very clean, tidy and kitchen well equipped with everything you need. We really enjoyed the canoe on the river and Jacuzzi with its beautiful view! The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate you. We will definitely visit Vale2Vaal again!
The place has everything you need on a very nice and special part of the Vaal River where it is nice and quiet. You can have a great time and then go canoeing on the Vaal River and play on the big lawn! The rooms are very nicely furnished and the landlords are very friendly and helpful when something is needed. It was a really nice weekend.

Well equipped facilities. Ideal for large family.
Dianne went out of her way to accommodate us. There is more than enough space for the children to play, and the kitchen is well-equipped. The dirt road to Vale2Vaal was damaged by the recent rains and be prepared to take is slowly, it's advisable to get there before dark. Remember to take enough ice and wood.
Diane was very hospitable. Unbelievably beautiful green lawn, river almost on the porch so close, it's spacious and the hot clean Jacuzzi was a bonus. We had a lot of rain this weekend, in every room was an umbrella and a flashlight. Diane provided during load shedding with lights. Was so peaceful and quiet, really enjoyed the rooster! Will definitely come again!

Great stay, so along the Vaal River. Place was very nice clean and neat. Delicious Jacuzzi who helped with the heat for this time of year. Evenings cooled down. Would definitely recommend the place to any group who just wants to socialise, and look big enough for a place to stay.
Vale2Vaal had everything we needed and more. The owners are very pleasant and friendly, and are always ready to help with anything they can. The place is on the river with lovely green lawns and lots of comfortable places to make a fire. I highly recommend Vale2Vaal and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the place. Vale2Vaal is so peaceful and the location is fantastic. There is so much trouble and nothing is too much trouble for the owner. We were a large group and the rooms and other facilities were very good value for money. Will definitely visit again.
The road was a bit rough and dusty, but Vale2Vaal has nice green lawns and plenty of shade trees. We were all warmly welcomed. The owners were very friendly and made us all feel welcome. I would suggest that they install a toilet downstairs too, otherwise very nice, thank you very much!
