We had a lovely stay at Valley View Cottage. There is enough space for everyone, inside and out. It's nice and quiet, yet close enough to everything. Very nice view and garden!

Comfortable house in an attractive location, though rather cold. We were out for the evening so that did not matter too much.
The shower ceiling could do with a new coat of paint.
There were quite a few light bulbs that didn't work and the place needs some maintenance, but overall we were satisfied.
The place was very clean.
We loved this little cottage. Everything about it was perfect. My only suggestion would be a gas cooker of some sort. So that when Eskom comes along there's a way to heat up or cook food.
It was bitterly cold while we were there, but there is a nice fireplace and heaters on the walls as well as electric blankets on the beds. We didn't get cold at night. Would love to go back to sit on the nice porch and hang out or sit under the beautiful old giant oak trees!
Comfortable house, has everything you need. Lovely fireplace and porch to hang out on. Large garden, but fencing is unfortunately not suitable for small dogs. Had to take our Maltese out on a leash every time. Can recommend the place anytime.
Located on the outskirts of Underberg with a fantastic view of the Drakensberg.

One wakes up and opens the curtains to the most beautiful picture. Unit is well equipped.
Valley View is spacious, tidy and well appointed. The owner is friendly and helpful. We had a great time in front of the fireplace - just remember to buy your own wood.

Amazing and beautiful does not begin to describe the cottage and the views. Unfortunately we had to leave early, but we will be back as soon as we can.
Valley View Cottage is a beautiful and tidy house with all the necessary facilities. It was sparkling clean when we arrived and there was so much attention paid to small details. The colorful flowers in the garden are beautiful and the lock up garage is a bonus! We had a great time on the stoep and just had a nice rest. We would love to go again!
Had an awesome weekend and the accommodation was outstanding! The host Sue went out of her way to ensure we are comfortable and happy! Had temperatures of -4 degrees and the heated blankets and heaters in the rooms that were provided most welcome! Definitely home away from home as this cottage is equipped with everything you need or could think of! Very private, clean and comfortable! Outstanding view on the valley and the snowy mountain peaks! Will most definitely be back!

We arrived to find, tea, coffee, biscuits, even milk in the fridge. A lovely fireplace, stocked with wood. Very comfortable and secure. The views from the veranda were outstanding, and I would certainly recommend it and return there one day if possible.
Neat little house with everything you could possibly need during your stay in Underberg. Little details like fresh flowers in the rooms and home-baked cookies in the kitchen were a winner. Peaceful surroundings with a beautiful view. For a break to relax with the sound of raindrops on the tin roof, Valley View Cottage is just the place.

Very neat and spacious house with everything you need. Beautiful view of the mountains and very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely come visit again. The hostess, Sue Armstrong, is very friendly helpful and she helps where she can.
We only stayed there for 2 nights, was out the whole day and only got back at 17:00 but it was nice. It is a nice place with everything that you need. Lay-out is very good. Sue is a friendly person who only wants the best for her guests.
