The kitchen is equipped with a gas fridge-freezer, gas stove, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
Both the bus and remote cabin open up to the outside area which has a wrap-around timber deck and features a wood-fired hot tub, cargo net and braai facilities.

Definitely the place to go if you are looking for peace and relaxation. Everything you could possibly need is there.
Yes very nice, but the units are incredibly hot and there is no cooling.
A very interesting place and a visit is highly recommended. From the eco-cabin to bus conversion, it's just so different from the rest. You have everything for a luxury yet simple stay. From lazing in the hammock net watching sunsets to early morning sunrise in the hot tub was magical. Johan is a great host.

The Veldhuisie Bus and Ecocabin was an absolutely amazing place to stay. It truly has everything you may need in terms of crockery, cutlery, and bedding. There were so many details that made our stay just incredible, from the hot tub to the fireplaces in both the cottage and bus! We also had an issue where one door broke, but the host was very quick to respond and get someone out to fix it. We will definitely be back soon!
What an awesome find! Such a different little getaway. Both our children, 16 and 10, loved the bus, the hot tub and the relaxing nets. The beds were so comfy and snug. More than enough utensils, cutlery and crockery. The weather was not the best, but the hot tub sure made up for the chill in the air. Johan was super helpful and just a WhatsApp message away should you need anything. We will definitely be back soon.
What a wonderful experience and lovely place! Johan's hospitality and extra effort make you feel welcome immediately. The place is extremely well equipped, to ensure a comfortable break. Very neat and clean. We had so much fun relaxing and resting. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet place to rest and get away from the busy and busy life.
