Very neat bathrooms. Has power points.
Philip and Loraine, with the help of their sons, make a real effort to make guests feel at home and to keep the grounds and ablution and washing facilities tidy. The restaurant offers a pleasant variety of takeaways and Magda is always ready to meet special requests. The location is also great for exploring various routes and visiting villages and attractions.
We will camp again at Verbe.

We chose this campsite in the middle of the flower season so that we could enjoy the flowers on our way home. It is located out of town on a hill. It was nearly full when we were there. We were able to select a nice campsite away from the crowd. Unfortunately during the night we experienced winds of over 50 km per hour, so sleep was not easy. The owner was very attentive and assisted many of the campers that were not prepared for the wind. Good value for money.
Was very surprised by the whole setup and location of the caravan park.
Nice quiet park with good facilities and supervision by owner. A lot of pitches are sloping, just something to be aware of.

Verbe Caravan Park is very well located if you want to look at the flowers. The ablution blocks are very clean and neat. Our hostess's service was excellent. Highly recommend the park to anyone looking for a good campsite.
We were kindly welcomed by Charmaine and slept peacefully in a quiet environment.
Despite the severe drought, Charmaine goes out of her way to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Facilities are kept extremely tidy by her. Thank you, Charmaine.
The owners of Verbe are very kind and friendly. They go out of their way to make they stay pleasant for guests. The only thing that was lacking, were dustbins.
Although we were the only ones in the campsite, we were warmly received and welcomed by Lisa. Despite the severe drought in the county, ample provision was still made for sufficient water. Coming from another part of the country, we were very skeptical about personal safety, but we were soon reassured in this regard. Had a peaceful night without incident.
A pleasant surprise to discover Verbe. Large, equal stand. Very quiet and peaceful, far from the N7 highway.
Clean facilities, would have appreciated shelter (tree lane that blocks the wind). We decided at 3am to save our tent from further gale damage, flushed it into the toilet, and continued to sleep in the car until at dawn we decided to pack up and head home rather than spend another night to stay Still enjoy the tour.
Although the owner contacted us in advance, the premises were very deserted with no one in sight. I feel it is quite expensive for what you get. We camped at much cheaper along the West Coast for much better facilities.

Clean and neat. Nice warm water. The ground is a bit uneven and would cause problems when it rain.
The campsite is somewhat "mog het troffe" in terms of pitch. There is no real indication of pitches, with the result that they are unordered. The ablution is clean and hot water was continuously available. The braai facilities are inadequate and those that are there are in poor condition.
Kamieskroon was chosen as convenient as we wanted to see the flowers. We decided to camp, it initially looked rather basic when compared to other camps we had stayed in. Once we were set up, it was fine and the ablution facility was clean and tastefully decorated though. No laundry facility other than basins for hand washing.
When we arrived it looked a bit bare, but to my surprise, the gardens and pitches with ample braai facilities were very clean. The lady was very hospitable and helpful with our tour to the sea and villages around Kamieskroon, and I must say, we felt at home very quickly. Special thanks to Lucresia van LekkeSlaap who handled our booking. She was very quick with our questions about Verbs and also responded quickly when we wanted to know something.
Friendly lady at reception, helpful, and very nice. We got there early and she immediately said we could go and find a pitch. Bathrooms and kitchen are very clean and tidy. Would recommend it to everyone.
Caravan park is well located and offers sufficient facilities for all pitches. Only downside is that the pitches are not clearly marked and campers are standing around in disarray.
With the camp, their facilities and specifically the reception, there is only the highest praise. The accommodation is also excellent value for money. We only stayed one night, the camp was quite full, but facilities are adequate.
It's a shame the caravan park is next to the prison. It can be noisy there at night. We don't like the pets there (they dig in garbage cans). Otherwise we had a nice stay/camp.
