7 guests' feedbackIt was amazing - Eva and her team were 'hands-on' all the way! Facilities were more than enough and we had a lovely weekend. The nature was breathtaking (even if we didn't play well together again) and friends, who are 'avid' bird watchers, were 'in awe' of all the bird life.
The photos are exactly like the houses, very nice view and nice and quiet. They keep the braai packed and the indoor fireplace ready to be lit. Everything we needed was available, Maggie cleaned the house nicely for us every day. Beds sleep very well!
It was like stepping back into an era where everything is easy, no hassle and just right. The atmosphere, the view and the interior with the lush gardens afforded us a respite between the wedding we attended.
We absolutely fell in love with Verkijken cottage! We felt immediately at home and the host was an incredible host, making sure we had everything we needed. The view was also stunning! Would definitely go back.
Clean, neat place with a wonderful view. Only comment is that the shower could improve as it is a bath-shower combo.
We had a lovely relaxing stay. The place was very clean and neat. A very comfortable stay and the view from the cottage is incredible. I would highly recommend this place. The staff were very helpful and it was such a bonus for the place to be serviced daily.
Nice fireplace for the winter with plenty of wood to stay cozy and warm all the time. Eva, the owner, also goes absolutely out of her way to make it pleasant for you.

Smoking is not permitted inside Verkijken Cottage.Please do not add wood to the Donkey Boiler. Comech and his team will add sufficient wood to provide hot water.
Keys will be handed to you by Comech and the team on arrival.
Maggie will wash dishes, and clean the kitchen and bathrooms daily.
Do not feed the Vervet monkeys, or Samango monkeys if they visit the garden.
Please take note that there is a gravel road that is leading to the property.
