Verlorenkloof is a well-established holiday destination in the heart of the trout triangle in Mpumalanga, offering a variety of nature-centered activities. Situated in a beautifully secluded valley along the eastern escarpment of the Mpumalanga province, the Crocodile River forms a natural border to the Estate.

Accommodation is offered in picturesque stone houses, called crofts. Each of the crofts have been uniquely sited to make the most of the natural environment and incredible views, all of them surrounded by striking mountains. The crofts have been designed to give you that homey farmhouse feel with a very spacious layout for the kids to play and the family to feel comfortable in. Each croft has a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The open-plan lounge has wonderful couches and enough seating with a big dining room table. The veranda has its own outdoor furniture with a beautiful outdoor braai area and a kettle braai in case it rains. Most of the bedrooms are en-suite with either a bath and shower or both.

The Estate has a main lodge which houses the reception area for check-in. There is also a wonderful coffee shop at the lodge for meals during the day and croft food that can be ordered for take home dinners. A small shop is available if you need freshly baked bread, eggs, fresh milk from the farm, yogurt made from the farm milk, and jams. There is a TV room for that very important sporting event, and laundry facilities if you need.
