Definitely one of my favourite places to stay! The friendliest host, the room is decorated classily and well-suited. We felt safe and welcome. We stayed in the red room - the bathroom has a shower, bath, and is wonderfully lit. It was great to do my makeup.
Terribly nice stay! The nicest thing is to find a place that has both a shower and a bath. And I'm not even talking about the cleanliness. It shines so clean is the unit. Wow, thank you very much! Full DSTV. I was even able to catch up when I had a break to relax. Best value for money I have found in Kimberley.
We booked 4 nights. Everything was spotless and tastefully decorated. Debbie is incredibly hospitable. The breakfast we ordered was deliciously prepared.
Not much to say, I got there after 7, slept and drove by 5.

We were accommodated by Vetra Amour Guesthouse on the 11th hour. The hospitality was amazing, the cleanliness is of AA rating, and it's a safe environment. I most certainly know where to stay on my next trip to Kimberley.

We arrived well after dark and left before dawn. We were simply there to crash.
The guest house was clean, tidy and very beautiful. The children had their own room and enjoyed it very much. The barbecue, swimming and visiting facilities were fantastic. We were able to hang out and barbecue with friends who also stayed there. Their service is excellent! Very helpful and friendly!. Would definitely recommend Vetra Amour Guesthouse.
On our way from Gauteng to the Cape, we decided to make a road trip out of it. Kimberley was our first stop and so our stay at Vetra Amour. We were very kindly received by our hostess, shown to our room (which was beautiful and clean and smelled oh so good). We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back again. Bed sleeps very well.
The guest room has everything a person needs for an overnight stay or maybe a few days. Ample hanging space for wet towels, neat bath, shower etc. Would stay there again anytime. Would recommend using their services.

My first impressions were good but then came the let down after arriving from De Rust and dead tired we just wanted a good night's sleep. The two single beds pushed together was okay but oh my goodness, the bed springs almost poked through its covering on inspection we found a thin layer of foam was placed over the 2 beds and then covered with bedding. The only window that was possible to open was a very tiny bathroom window and that didn't help even with the ceiling fan on full blast we still felt uncomfortable. My recommendation replace the beds and change to an aircon system.
The room was nice and big and comfortable with everything you need. The bathroom with shower and bath was a bonus. The decor is very nice. Owner/manager made us feel very welcome. Everything was just right and it is very affordable and convenient.

Room was clean and tidy - top notch decor. Warm reception and can certainly recommend the guest house.
The units are very neat and tidy, and very clean. But the owners don't provide heaters so it's bitterly cold. There are electric blankets though, so in winter you just have to stay in bed all the time. We mentioned this to Christa, but she still didn't provide any heaters. We then went to buy heaters ourselves. The bedrooms have no windows that can open, so I reckon in the summer it will be very hot. Due to lockdown changes we had to cancel 2 nights accommodation, for which we of course paid in advance. The owner cannot yet come to a decision on whether she can make a partial refund, as she apparently needs to consult her accountant. I reckon she's playing for time and just hope we forget about it. I will never go back to Vetra Amour because you really get the impression that the manager does not care about her guests. The rooms are full of ornaments, so it's not easy for a business traveler to find room for his computer. In any case, it was so cold that one had to work in bed!
Rooms at the back are past a pool that needs some attention. The walls are thin and I suspect you can hear the chatter in the dining room and it stopped at 9pm but it was disturbing.
Rooms needs air coolers or aircons, but we did have a pleasant stay at Vetra Amour. Will definitely book another stay.
