Located on the ground floor and separate from the main house with a few steps down to the accommodations, the units are furnished with comfortable queen-size beds. Two of the units have en-suite bathrooms fitted with showers only, while the Aloe unit has a bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower. Each unit is tastefully decorated and has ocean views.
For convenience, linen and bath towels are provided, guests please need to bring their own beach towels.
Each unit has a microwave, a fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The Aloe unit has a fully equipped kitchen, while the Protea and Fynbos rooms are not suitable for braaiing or cooking as there is no kitchen, only a microwave for heating and a kettle with tea and coffee. A Smart TV, as well as Wi-Fi access, is available in each of the units.
Guests have access to the communal garden which overlooks the ocean and greenbelt, and guests will be able to see buck and various bird species. Best view and beautiful room.
This place is amazing. Such a good view of the ocean, we saw a whale and lots of dolphins. The owners are so nice. And only a few minutes away from good beaches and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Natasha and Andries received us very well and were very helpful. Our Aloe room was very well equipped, clean and tidy, and we had a great time.
This was one of the places I would definitely use again. Als was clean and tidy. Nothing was lacking, and it is one of the most peaceful places. And his wife was one of the nicest couples we met, and they were very helpful.
We had a great time with the hospitable owners. The communication, service, and tranquility were wonderful. The place is very well located with a beautiful view of the sea. They also accommodated us to extend our stay. Very neat and clean and has everything you could need. Everything is exactly as in the photos. Thank you very much, we will definitely stop by again!

The first thing that caught our eyes when we arrived was the stunning sea view. It gives you that feeling of being on ocean's doorstep. We were friendly welcomed by the hosts. They were very accommodating and often asked if we required fresh towels. The room was beautifully decorated with attention to detail, and the bed was very comfortable. The house is very close to the 1st beach in Dana Bay, which is convenient, and the area is very quiet and peaceful compared to busy Mossel Bay. We can definitely recommend this accommodation!
Best place to stay and view in Dana Bay!
We wanted to book a place with a view of the sea. We got it. Was able to see dolphins, whales and also the local wildlife. Very nice stay.

We were so impressed with this piece of heaven on earth and had such a good time that we booked for an additional night (and would have liked more if our time had allowed us). Very kindly received by our hostess Natasha and host Andries who made us feel very welcome and came to check that everything we needed was there. Beautiful beautiful sea view as well as "garden" view where we saw baby goats, turtles, a porcupine, many birds and of course daily "visits" right in front of us in the sea from hundreds of dolphins and even the whales. This was truly a slice of heaven in Dana and we will definitely be back. We were in the Protea room (by choice), which is not a self-catering unit, but there is a small fridge, a microwave with cutlery if you wanted to use it. Coffee and tea facilities (with biscuits, thank you Natasha) made for early morning coffee on a nice open veranda while we watched the dolphins as they frolicked in the water. To an old hen who came every morning to do his "morning service". So that afterwards we became quite friends, so hans was he. The owners' garden itself is beautifully clean and beautiful and I would not hesitate to refer anyone there. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality Natasha and Andries. Hope to see you again in your piece of splendor. The pictures would not prepare us for what we actually experienced there. The most beautiful most beautiful.

Great place and people, neat and cozy.
We would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a safe and peaceful place to stay. The combination of a rich bird life, goats, turtles and a rooster in the garden in front of your door creates an atmosphere of tranquility and calm. The personal and friendly attention of Andries and Natasha made us feel very welcome.

Affordable, very neat, very clean, sea view in bed, friendly people, the sound of the sea works better than any sleeping pill, dolphins seen every morning and the variety of birds that were on our porch was something to experience. Oh yes, and best shower of my life. If you want to spend the night in Dana Bay, this is the place to do it. See early December again.
Everything you usually look for in a guest house and more. Small details - soft music when you enter the room, chocolates on the bedside table, enough milk in the fridge - took me by surprise. I felt welcome from my booking until I left again.

It was quite a novelty, being in a place where you can't cook yourself, and missed it a lot, plenty of takeaways, and a delicious breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast. But the tranquility, and the rooster that kept us company, and was so sweet-mouthed, made up for it. The hostess and host were pleasant, friendly and helpful.
