The stay was good. Bigger than we expected. Spacious garden in the back. There is also an aircon, DStv and WiFi. Very close to the hospital. Debonairs and Checkers found place easily and delivered. Easy check-in and check-out. Will stay here again.

Arriving late after a long day's travel, Villa Vredenrust was a welcome treat. Modern and homely, clean and comfortable. The ladies that assist with check-in are amazing and very helpful. Certainly on my top 5 list of guest houses. We had booked 2 units and both were fabulous.
A very lovely, clean house! It's very suitable for families with 2 kids. The helper, cleaner and gardener are very nice, especially the owner is very friendly. Easy to check in and out. Will come back again if needed.

After a long day's travel, Villa Vredenrust has been a wonderful, quiet destination to rest. The staff were friendly, the room very modern and clean and well furnished. Power tripped every time we wanted to make coffee. Had to ask for other kettle. The tub's plumbing is faulty. The whole chamber was washed with odner water after we bathed. Everything that was on the ground is wet, including our bags and the corner of the duvet that was on the ground. When we asked for another duvet we only got a blanket. Small problems that can be easily fixed.
If they did as the extensions, it's going to be a special place.
The place is very nice, but the service is not. I sent messages ahead of time via the app, and got no response. The day of my arrival I sent the owner a personal message - which she only read and did not reply. I then had to call to ask them to get hold of someone upon my arrival. I was then placed in another room by the cleaner that I did not book. I was also double-booked at Villa Vredenrust before and had to go to another guest house, which was worse than Villa Vredenrust. Will not use again.
My initial note to the owner was “can I park a car with a car trailer” in the facility? This was impossible so why didn’t the owner tell me of this problem? There were dirty clothes left in the cupboard. There was an old opened milk container. The photos shown on your website are not the same place, this is a terrible misrepresentation!

Ons stop nie graag in Bloemfontein nie, maar moes vir 'n sportnaweek met die kinders 'n plekkie kry. Ons was so gelukkig om 'n selfsorg te kry waar ons so tuis gevoel het. Die huisie is ruim genoeg vir 'n gesin van vier. Daar was lekker hout beskikbaar vir 'n braai. Parkering was veilig en ons het so lekker gekuier. Ons eenheid was elke dag gediens en tot ons skottelgoed was gewas en weggebêre. Villa Vredenrust is naby die hospitale selfs vir families wat van ver kom. Daar is 'n winkelsentrum naby waar jy aankope vir so 'n oorbly kan doen. Eienaars was baie gasvry en ek sal dit vir enige iemand wat van skoon, netjies en stilte hou aanbeveel. Ek sal enige tyd weer daar gaan bly. Hulle kan net dalk die volgende byvoeg in eenheid 1: wynglase, braaibak en tang. En steakmessies vir braai. Baie dankie SanMarie, ons het heerlik gekuier.

Everything was super neat and clean thank you very much! The rooms were perfection with good quality bedding and towels while everything worked beautifully. We were warmly welcomed and made sure we had everything we needed. All that bothered me a bit were the lights in and around the main house which were all on until quite late and shone into our rooms.
We really liked that there are people in Bloemfontein who love animals.
Body soap in the shower would be great. If you pay that much, one would expect a plunger with filter coffee at least. The unit was beautifully decorated and clean.

The room is very clean and tidy. The garden is beautiful. However, there was uncertainty about which room was booked and no one to be found on the premises at check-out time. Would like to suggest that at least a screen be placed between the toilet and the kitchen. Sufficient overnight accommodation for single person.
We struggled for 2 hours to get hold of the owner to enter the accommodation. This is after we confirmed the time of arrival with the owner earlier in the day, however, they did not reply at all. We suggest that there are two contact numbers available for customers.
When we arrived after confirming our booking them know the following happened: There was no bell at the gate so we had to phone and wait 5 min in street to get access. When I got out the black lady who opened the gate said there is only one room with a double bed and 2 single beds. I booked 2 rooms - complete misinformation. Cecilia the owner was very rude. The main bedroom had no airconditioning just the lounge where the 2 single beds were in. There was also no fan for the main bedroom. Also no mosquito burners or spray with a lot of them through the night. The garden was well kept. The main bed was making a noise whenever you moved. The mother of the owner who stays there next to the unit was also very rude when I was telling my friends who visited me about the service we got from Cecilia. Will not stay there again!

The place is beautiful! Clean, tidy and good value for money. Nice comfortable beds and nice smelling bedding. Sufficient milk, coffee etc. for guests. First place we stay overnight where you can enjoy much more than just 1 cup of coffee per guest. They are also animal friendly.

So clean and tidy. The interior is beyond beautiful, the villa provides a wonderful environment for family and friends, as well as the appropriate space for work. Pet friendly!

I was only there quickly, but I will definitely go back again if I'm in the area. It's also incredibly safe, my car was packed as I was moving. And I never once wondered about the safety of my car or my belongings.

There are 2 properties with Villa Vredenrust signs on either side of the road. Didn't know which one to go to. When I got there, the little lady didn't quite know me. Luckily I had the necessary information and I was then taken to my room. After the unclear start, the stay was wonderful.
Our room for well furnished with quality furnishings and fittings. One improvement that could be made would be to divide the sleeping area from the ablutions. This could be done simply with a curtain rail. But overall we were very comfortable.

It is a nice and neat place. The equipment to eat with is just a bit scarce. For example, there was no vegetable knife and cutting board and we had to ask for them.
There are almost no check-in arrangements - cleaner basically handing over your key and off you go. Same for the checkout. For preferred partner I expected more.

Our room was at the back of the house, with a door from the bathroom that we didn't have a key for, didn't feel very safe. The milk that was placed in the fridge was half a bottle, it was not sealed.

The adjoining suite was made available for our use as it had a shower and the braai (with a bag of wood) stood ready to relax after many hours on the road. They also accommodated my brother-in-law, from White River, with adjusted rates when his wife, unplanned, was in hospital for 2 weeks. Feel free to support them!

The light, spacious and spotless unit with large glass doors opening onto the peaceful garden is truly an oasis. The unit is beautiful and well equipped with microwave and fridge/freezer and Wi-Fi, the white bedding adds to the relaxed yet neat look. The main bedroom is a comfortable size and the living area has two more single beds, two easy chairs and a table with four chairs, where you can eat, work or just sit and read. Everyone made us feel so welcome, yet gave us the privacy we needed. The bathroom is functional with a spacious shower and sink and toilet.
