The house is well located and we could walk to the nearest bakery. The host communicated with us before and after arrival to ensure we had everything we needed. We discovered a gem in Franschhoek which we would love to return to with friends or family.

This is a lovely neat house near the centre of town close to all the restaurants.
Lovely house with a stunning garden and two terraces. We especially liked that is fenced all around what made it perfect for our dog. The location is ideal, very quiet, you can leave your car in the off-street parking and just walk everywhere. Another bonus is that the kitchen is cleaned daily and the beds are made. Tim, the host, is very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant ‘Tapasco’ on the main road is owned by the same couple and the food is delicious and good value.
Perfect spot to spend the night for a weekend away in Franschhoek.

Villa Ashbourne is for sure one of my first choices in Franschhoek! Tim, the owner, is friendly, considerate and very helpful. We also got a voucher to eat at their restaurant on Sunday and were pleasantly surprised! I can highly recommend it!

Children of all ages are welcome at Villa Ashbourne and children from 0-2 years stay for free. We also have a cot and a high chair that we can provide on request.Villa Ashbourne does not have a pool. But you are welcome to use the pool at Ashbourne House Guest House, which is only 140 m away.
