Every year we travel to the Cape, we sleep over each time and always try different areas and towns, Villa de Ghaap was one of our favourites, with a restaurant as neighbours. Definitely 5 star from us.

Beautiful guest house. Quiet and peaceful, the restaurant is just next to the guest house if you want to eat or drink something. This is a plus point.
Very nice rooms and good service, restaurant within walking distance too!
So a few garden chairs somewhere in the garden would be a good idea just to hang out somewhere other than in the room. The lounge set on the front porch is battered and broken. Some of us had to sit on the ground. Schalk and Ansie are very friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed short conversations with them and felt very much at home. Thank you very much.

Place is very pleasant. The food is also of good quality. Owners are pleasant people, the guest house is close to all shops etc. Ideal place to unwind, pool was all that was needed.

Compared to previous overnight stay in Douglas in other b&b all one can say is that it was adequate.
At least WiFi and TV expected in my room which were my minimum requirements for stay which were not available but the cleanliness and friendliness was pleasant.
