15 guests' feedbackWe had a great time relaxing and resting at Villa Insolventa. We made a lot of use of the lapa with braai area by the pool. Although the wind was blowing, the lapa is nicely sheltered from the wind and the children could swim while we barbecued. In the evenings we could have a nice barbecue inside again and there is enough space, so that everyone could gather comfortably around the dining table. The pool table is also a plus, which we used a lot while barbecuing. The house is comfortably furnished with everything you need and a nice walking distance from the sea. With the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, our family of 7 had a great time staying here!
We had a wonderful stay! The house was neat and felt safe and secure.
Very lovely house but faced many problems. No signal and WiFi didn't work. Refrigerator is not working well. Lights and power points at the lapa were also not in working order. TV also very small and makes a strange sound, and the image also has a problem.
The house was nice, there are just a few things that need to be looked after such as clothes lines, lights and also the pool, we were disappointed in the pool.
What a beautiful place. Even more beautiful than in the photos. The weekend was just too short.
We stayed at Villa Insolventa in the last week of 2021, over New Years. Very neat, well maintained accommodation with a very nice pool and lapa area. It's a private, quiet space. Overall we enjoyed our time. A few things to note. There's no iron so remember to pack one. Parking was secure but not under roof. Cellphone signal was bad. Really bad. Vodacom had some signal but MTN had almost nothing. On the upside, you have partial views of the ocean and can clearly hear the waves crashing. Taking a drive to the beach gives you amazing views. The pool is super nice and there are actually two braai areas, one by the pool-lapa area and one inside. The space inside is enough but you don't go there to stay inside, outside is where you want to be. Thanks, we will definitely visit again.
It was nice and quiet so we could relax from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Maybe another freezer for people who bring a lot of meat. From the house to the pool not very safe for children. Maybe you can put in more grass.
The accommodation was very neat very accommodating. My family was very comfortable everything we needed was made available. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Lovely getaway for the entire family.
Good location, but untidy garden with a swimming pool that isn't well looked after. Just the necessary furniture in the house with way too little packing space or working surfaces and the worst mattresses we've ever slept on in this country and overseas. Except for the 3 very small mirrors in the bathroom there are no mirrors close to a plug so that you can blowdry your hair at least. With what the place costs, it is just the worst value for money. We canot recommend it to anyone.
We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Insolventa... The location is great and the pool was a hit! The house is large, comfortable and well equipped to accommodate even two families. We will definitely stay there again! Thank you very much!
Loved the place. The kids enjoyed the huge lawn area, and swimming pool. The accommodation itself was great. I appreciated the security features. Will definitely be going back soon.
Nicely equipped to look after holidaymakers and it's conveniently and safely located in Yzerfontein. The lapa is well sheltered if the wind bothers the day a bit.
