Unique, off the 'grid' with fantastic WiFi!
It is a beautiful place in a beautiful environment. Only two things bothered me a bit: the walls are very thin and you can hear what the other guests are doing and saying, especially if they are watching a movie or playing music. There was also a thing that flapped in the wind.
Was really lovely. However, the shower is not suitable for kids as it is very hard to work and doesn't stay warm long enough. It gets super cold, then hot again. Not ideal for winter.
Would maybe just recommend blinds/curtains as the unit is exposed to light in the evening.
Beautiful log cabin but right next to the very noisy N2. The walls between units are paper thin, and we could hear the neighbour's every step as if they were in our unit. According to the website's confirmation, we booked unit 2 (which would have been slightly further from the N2 facing into Wilderness, as shown on all the pictures) but got unit 4 instead (right at the N2). Lots of potential but unfortunately the noise did not make for a pleasant stay.
The house was beautiful and clean, but there were better places to sleep comfortably on holiday. It's between two busy roads, and you will have continuous noise from them all night long, nonstop! It was a shame because the house is fantastic! And guys, if a button is to turn off some light in the house, you should not have a sign to do not switch off.
Expectation was different.
Disappointed because we chose that room so that we could have the hot tub outside, but I burnt three bags of charcoal, three bags of wood, and the water still remained at a normal temperature.
We booked for 4 people, two children and two adults. The adults' bed was fantastic, but I've never heard of giving one bed to two children. It was too small and uncomfortable. There was also only one pillow and one blanket which is extremely impractical. Fortunately, one child was able to sleep on another couch with some difficulty. There was also only cutlery, cups and glasses for 3 people. The hot water did not work in our unit because the gas ran out. The host said you never know when the gas will run out. One can check the bottles to see if they are almost empty and test if the water is getting hot. One should do this before your guests arrive. We should have showered in another unit.
