We had a great time in Port Alfred and a wonderful stay at Villa Majestic for Exclusive Accommodation. The host was very helpful and assisted us with kindness.
They were accommodating to let us check in earlier. The place was already tidy and everything we needed was there. It is a safe environment and our motorbikes, although not under lock and key, were very secure in the parking area.
Highly recommended. Very friendly reception and accommodation is unbeatable, beautiful, clean and tidy and the breakfast is 5-star.
Just unfortunate that we experienced loadshedding and Munic not supplying water so had to arise earlier than was planned. Wi-Fi was also unavailable. Hostess apologetic about the above.

The advert showed a bath, only after booking in, we were told they have removed the bath plug due to water restrictions, we could only shower. Appart from that, the room was very comfy, and clean.

There are many photos of the accommodation itself but one cannot determine where and how far the sea is from the place, but we were pleasantly surprised.
We stay in between 10 and 20 different guesthouses every year, but would not recommend Villa Majestic to friends and family. There was nothing that stood out. Our room was extremely small and we struggled to find space to put down our two suitcases. My husband could only put his in our room and mine we had to put on the floor in the bathroom. The breakfast was terribly small and stands out quite strongly against other guest houses of even a cheaper price range. Our hostess was nowhere to be found when we wanted to leave ─ even after ringing the bell several times. We then just left the keys in the lobby and left. Will definitely not visit this guest house again.
We slept very peacefully with the roar of the sea in our ears! The hostess made us feel very comfortable and spoiled us with a delicious breakfast.
