It was very nice, quiet and private, well located.
The unit was immaculately clean and ideally located. There are few places that offer what I am asking, and this is a unit that is well laid out for a family to stay overnight and stay a little longer yourself.
It was very pleasant and we will definitely book there again.

Was very peaceful for the short time we were there. Close to restaurants and shops. Room even had flyers you could use to order food.
Value for money. Comfortable large shower with enough hot water and lovely water pressure. The beds are 5-star comfort. Coffee making facilities and a large fridge/freezer. For 3 adults it is a bit cramped if everyone is busy at the same time, but otherwise a very good choice for short term stays. Plenty of secure parking and a beautiful lawn to relax on.

We were a family of 4 and the overnight stay met our requirements. The room was neat but not very clean. We were not notified of the loadshedding. I had to contact the owner for the wifi password.

Mr. Pieterse and co arrived at the guest house expecting sufficient parking as telephonically arranged and confirmed only to have to make alternative arrangements on Friday night. The owner and his wife started fighting in front of the guests. Saturday after making additional arrangements Mr. Pieterse and co arrived back at the guesthouse only to find that the gates were parked shut and decided to rather make the 4-hour trip home than stay another unwelcome night. Absolutely disappointed with this service from Villa Med!

Perfect place to sleep for hospital visits.

The place is particularly neat and beautiful but unfortunately my experience was not one of the best. We got there and the power was out (because of this I couldn't get ready for the wedding and had to drive out to my family to use their power to get ready for the wedding). We came back again after 12pm and realized the power was still off and everything was pitch dark. Ie power was off for 13 hours. They didn't plan for this at all, I feel it's unacceptable for a guest house.
Very friendly management, room was always cleaned, aircon helped a lot with the heat and nice swimming pool for cooling off. Close to shops and very quiet area.
The rooms are clean, convenient and have a 3-star feeling. The place is accessible to a hospital or mall. The staff amazing people. I was home from home.

As we travel frequently throughout SA, we stay at various guest lodges or self catering accommodation we deal with many different people. I wish to compliment the team at Villa Med, namely Magda from Villa Med. We stayed at Villa Med ─ Santorini and Marilyn for 4 nights. During our stay we experienced excellent hospitality from Magda and her ladies. Extremely friendly and eager to assist with the slightest query for both the self catering and the 2nd room. We were checked on daily to ensure all was to our comfort and satisfaction. Magda really went the extra mile to ensure our stay at Villa Med was a great experience. Compliments to Magda and her ladies. Service excellence, hard to find in this day and age.

For the price one pays it is worth staying here. The reception was friendly and everything was clean and tidy, although not luxurious. Something like a hairdryer was missing and the towels were a bit battered (had a hole in them). The shower's hot tap was also very noisy and one has to open it all the way before the hot water comes out. However, these are small things that can be corrected and the cleanliness and friendliness make up for it.

Beautiful, quiet, and safe area. Stylish decor and the rooms were clean. Good value for money. Fantastic air conditioning. The open bathroom was an issue for some of the people in our group. No water in the Marilyn Monroe room, but we showered in one of the other rooms. Hair dryer would have been nice. We will definitely be back.

Parking is a problem with a large car
Reception was very friendly, every interaction with the manager/owner was pleasant. Room was clean and tidy. Environment appears to be safe and is nice and quiet. I stayed here along with my wife and toddler and had a comfortable stay. The room was a bit cramped for the three of us, but for the price we paid we can not complain. The only negative comments are that the room does not have a bathroom door. If you travel alone this wouldn't be a problem, but if you are on a family trip a bathroom door is essential.
I booked the "Cars" room. The parking spaces are cramped and poorly laid out, certainly not intended for larger vehicles. There is a smoking area/corner right in front of this room and upon our arrival the windows were open and the room reeked of smoke. I turned on the air conditioning on the way out when we went to eat to try to get the smoke smell out. Unfortunately on our return we found out that the air conditioning does not work. Because it was already late, I didn't see the point in complaining. The front door of the room has corrugated glass panels that still allow one to see every movement in the small hallway. I assume the same money from outside. The shower has an ugly brown coating in corners and sides that leaves a dirty feeling. To top it all off, the "friendly" guard dog raised his leg against my luggage while I was loading it before I left. Als said I sure got what I paid for. I would.not recommend the place. Sorry.

The reception was friendly and professional. The room is nicely and tastefully decorated. The facilities are adequate and comfortable. Nice quiet environment.
They could look at acquiring at least a small fridge and a microwave. We bought take-aways and had to eat it immediately, because there is no microwave. Also bought a few beers and had to finish them seeing as there was no fridge.

Was a bit uncomfortable because the bathroom is not private. The air conditioner was a double plus because it was freezing during the hockey tournament and we could then return to a warm room in the evening.

The whole guest house is very nicely laid out and enough parking for all the guests. Very clean and tidy. (Unfortunately, there was not enough hot water for two people.)
The rooms are small, but good enough for overnight accommodation.
